Thats just what I was going to say, as I was reading the last few posts.

Just about anything apart from the meat.

i buy things like flour, chopped toms, tin foil, cling film, dish clothes, bleach, tinned peaches, kidney beans, mushy peas.

i don't touch the value meat from tesco. if i do have to buy value meat then i buy from sainsburys.

i find store cupboard essentials don't vary too much from store to store in the value/basic range. i dont' shop that much in tescos now, i'm more morrisons, sainsburys and M&S.
  • We use value mince and value fresh chicken breast. Weve never had a problem with them. We dont like sainsbury value mince.

Have recently discovered value jaffa cakes - yummy!
