I've been using supermarket value biological powders for a couple of years now. I use it on lightly soiled whites & light coloured items, buying the brands for coloured items & heavier soiled whites & lights.

I've been quite happy with the performance I get from it & it's saved me money over the years by using it the way I do.
The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.

I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.

    Best newly found items:

Tesco Value facial wipes 10p! for 25 (although I rarely wear make up since my operation so I cut them in half)

Tesco Value Coley portions 4 for 32p, these are fab steamed and served with either homemade parsley butter, parsley sauce, mustard breadcrumbs, cheese sauce or a drizzle of olive oil.
CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J

Where did you find the coley unixgirl? Was is fresh or frozen as I can't find it on my tesco.com, could it have been reduced to clear?
    Thanks

Edit - oh and the value face wipes are coming up as 49p, not 10p. I think I need to come round to your T's! lol

Sorry should have been more clear, it was frozen and no 32p is the normal price. I had some the previous week which was marked down to 19p.

There is a value grated cheese that isn't grated cheese! It looks like grated cheese but the packet actually says "cheese" in big letters and "substitute" in little letters. It smells of nothing and it tastes of nothing.

At the moment the Tesco Value Chopped tomatoes are more expensive per 100g than the Tesco Branded Passata, weird.
I find with the new Discount Brands line you really have to check per 100g on the label to see which is best as it is not always the one you think
