What to buy in Tesco Value Range

Tesco value stuff I have tried recently:
Value mini milks - little more watery tasting that the wall equivalent but at 75p for 8 who can complain?
Value bananas - tasty but cant go wrong with them really
Value meat paste - yummy in sandwiches
Value tinned tomatoes - nice
Value jaffa cakes - yummy

and value tin toms BUT is it me or have tomatoes in general shot up in price
used to be able to get these for 10p a tin :mad:

Tomatoes are shockingly expensive atm ( so are baked beans tho,,,I remember they were 17p or so not too long ago )

the butter is the best ive ever had! Orange and apple juice from concentrate and foil. ooh and the yoghurt drink 65p for pack of 4 But i will deffo be trying some of the other stuff people have posted x

Talk of shockingly expensive, I saw a chocolate bar (just the one bar!) for 80p today! EIGHTY PENCE! I remember when chocolate bars were about 30p

Tinned tomatoes, tinned kidney beans, dried apricots, raisins, digestives/rich tea biscuits, tin foil, printer paper, scourers, plain and milk chocolate (just for cooking), breakfast juice.........um, think that's it for our "regulars"

Just bought the market value lamb - a 348g packet had over 200g fat that had to be cut off! I would never by value meat from tescos again.:(
