Ooo..Ooo... I'm having a brown baby too! Well maybe... to be honest i'm not very brown and OH is reflective white so maybe I'll have a white baby after all!

Actually my auntie also had a mixed race baby and her little girl was born very very pale, she used to get really upset because people in the supermarket would always ask her who's baby it was!

in OH family they're are renown of there mixed raced children to come out almost white the main give away is the hair although it still tends to blonde so i may just end up with another fair skin blonde haired child :rotfl: x

thanks, i wouldnt usually buy magazines but i cant find anything else in the tesco deals to spend my vouchers on!

Just thinking maybe you'd be better off just using them instore, its not worth it if you won't end up reading the mags  plus I find that the mags are the same evry time pretty much, Article on how bubs looks at each stage in the bump, one about sympotoms to not ignore, foods to avoid, breast feeding, scary/inspirational birth story etc...:rotfl:

  • On flooring for bedrooms, I also thought carpet can get a bit icky, especially up behind the bedhead and under the bed, surely I am not the only one who hardly ever moves the bed around to vacuum behind it! When we got our loft conversion done, I didn't want a cold hard floor and didn't want carpet for our bedroom. We went for a very pale coloured cork! (you can get lots of different colours). Warm underfoot (even when it has been freezing you don't notice when you stand on the floor 1st thing in the morning) and good for sound insulation. Just don't walk around on it in high heels! When people see it they are not quite sure what type of floor it is. We laid it ourselves, you need a good flat base floor, but they just glue down. Cutting the edge pieces takes a bit of work though.

On mixed race babies, saw a picture of Tiger Woods' baby in the Metro this morning. He looked very pale! (the baby, not Tiger)
