Awwww AM sorry to hear the car is definitely dead as a dodo - I did think it might be given the value of it vs the damage... did the mechanic confirm it was the crank?
As for the bedroom - have you thought about laminate floor? No dust to get in it and it's not THAT expensiveand if you choose a light colour it will go with blue and naturals

I hate laminate flooring in bedrooms, and it would cost too much, the carpet os only £80 for their room.:j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j0 -

Must be the Dane in me... I'm the opposite - I hate carpet in bedroomsIt's the thought of all those dust mites and yucky stuff that invariably lives in carpets that make me go all icky... At least laminate floor I can mop up if the baby is sick on it and there will be a minimum of dust in that room
We're going to look at laminating our bedroom soon too - I know we have a really pricey carpet in there but it's long pile and the thought of the yucky stuff the dyson might not get up
As I say it's probably a danish thing... kinda grew up with carpets in bedrooms being a no noDFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!

I finally slept! After only one or two hours each night for a week, I had a decent 5 hours last night! Feel a lot better for it.
Midwife this afternoon, keen to see how I'm measuring, feel gigantic. He has had a busy few days too, seems to be squirming constantly.Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -
I hate laminate anywhere lol... Got it up my hall and I always promised it would go as soon as I got rid of the pram... Left it too long though and the pram is back... Think my Mum having hardwood floors has put me off, I used to do her cleaning but before I did her floors were always gritty... And now I don't do them every week they're back the way they used to be...
Washing machine people just rang, the van has broken down and they won't get to us before 1:30 so we're off swimming now and will be back before the arrive... At least Aimee doesn't have to miss out this week...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls...
