am only on as she is sound asleep and my sky box in living room has given up lol! had a few bad afterpains and cant take any more painkillers so need to do something to keep me busy and my mind off it! charlie will go down soon too so ill climb into bed for a few hours before my mum and everyone else turns up later, trying to put them off until the weekend??

I am also quite excited about beanie's colouring. I am 1/2 english 1/2 Iraqi and hubby is nigerian. My biggest fear is that baby will have unmanageable hair. If it was a boy I would have shaved it! As its a girl she may have to spend her childhood with a birds nest on her head - I just havent got a clue about all the lotions and potions that her hair will need. I intend to do a bit of research though!

I never found laminate floors were less soundproof - but that might just have been us lol
However we do have rugs which I guess deadens the sound the advantage being you can whack them in the washing machine if they get dirty

OH's Granddad said the other day I saw the curit (sp?) from church walking down the road the other day... with a black man!!

Yes I think its right that they come out white and then slowly change colour!! I warned my hubby already in case he thought that I had been up to no good when this white baby appeared!!

Just checked out Tescos vouchers, £131 so £524 for our holiday in August. :T

As for carpets in bedrooms, I agree with Mel, kids need them. The noise and comfort when they play. But I also have a bit of a phobia about dust so all my beds are metal or wood on legs that I can get right in under every week. My chests of drawers are Ikea also on legs. When the wormen moved the furniture out last week I said to them I would just dust the skirting boards, they said they couldn't see any dust on them!

:rotfl: mook as i said early OH is black white and indian and im so white im transparent (honestly OH nickname for me is snowflake which funny enough i have tattooed on my back) so god only knows how this one will look thats why i wanted to find out the sex how he'll look is suprise enough :rotfl: x
