    LOL Boiler vibes!!! :T

Kids fed and in bed watching a DVD. May as well just keep DS1 off the rest of the week, he will be off tomorrow anyway so no point sending him Friday. He is now complaining of a sore throat anyway.

Debating on whether to change my EDD to 5th Sept (my scan at 5/3 would give me this date but my LMP would give me 27th August) I don't want to have this scan next week thinking I'm 15 weeks and be told I'm a week less. A week to get used to it would be nice. A scan before 6 weeks can't give you an exact date anyway....

  • Help!!

I am about 6 or 7 weeks pregnant and am worried today as I had pains in my pelvic area. I have been feeling really sick for the past couple of days which I know is normal but today got these pains on and off and am scared it could mean somethings wrong.
They were like sharp pains, you know if sometimes you hold on to go to the loo too long and it hurts your bladder.
Has anyone else experienced the same?

Thanks so much for any advice x

Feelie - I am glad your appointment went well hun. You seem to be getting it all sorted now :T

AM - how on earth can he pee in a toaster? Was he unsupervised? I know it's not right anyway but how the hell did he get the chance? Was he being egged on by the other kids? And how many other kids had had a go before he got caught??
Good luck with dealing with it!!
I have no idea, i thouight she meant a toy one, will speak to her tommorrow about it.

Just about everyone has period like pains in early pregnancy. The uterus has to stretch a lot. NHS website does say not to worry unless they are severe or acompanied by bleeding.

But as always if you are worried, call your GP, MW, NHS direct etc cos we are not allowed to give out medical advice ;)

  • Thank you,

I called NHS direct, they are going to call me back. I am sure its nothing to worry about, just feeling scared thats all.
I was also worried as I have stopped feeling sick now and have actually eaten a meal for the first time in days!

I wonder if there is some relation to adrenaline and lack of morning sickness. I had a bit of bleeding at 13 weeks, and my MS stopped. It came back when I knew everything was okay! Hope they call you back soon.

Bit worried about MIL. FIL is in hospital, and he had a bad turn about a week ago. OH hasn't spoken to her since then, and now when we try and call, it just says "sorry this number is temporarily out of order". Tried texting SIL but no reply.
