erm... i've got some period type pains going on and i'm really windy, also keep feeling like i need to poop but once i get to the toilet - nothing! back twinges too, could this be a sign?? i havent heard of wind being a sign before, the cramps could just be trapped wind?

Sounds to me like its happening - when I started i was too and from the loo every 5 minutes thinking i needed to poop, but just doing big pumps! Sorry - TMI!

Good luck - painfree and fast labour vibes to you! :D

Sending you labour vibes! I have heard that feeling like you need to poop can be a sign (or you could just need the loo!)

My BMI is 33, but I feel fit enough  Feelie you really didn't look that big hun and so long as you feel fine then sod what anyone thinks! Plenty of obese women have normal happy healthy pregnancies and babies. In the olden days it was prefered!

Dinner time here. Hope the kids stay well tonight and sleep through, can I have 'healthy kids' vibes? :rotfl:

I feel all clever cos I just set up the scottish gas power saver extension thingy... it turns off the TV, Xbox, DVD, Suround sound and the Wii when I put the telly on standby. Awesome!

emlou, you can get wind during labour, the cramps upset all your digestive organs as well as the hormones that could be flooding through your body. Sending quick, easy labour vibes your way!

  • Ooo emlou - sounds like you may be on the move too - my bowels have been on major evacuation alert for 3 or 4 days now (sorry TMI)

Well have spent the afternoon cooking, hula hooping and stepping on the Wii and having a nap. Still in pain but nothing big doing. There's time yet. Have had some bleeding but not really a 'show' because not mucassy (?).

May order a curry - the MW says it doesn't work but it has got to have started from somewhere hasn't it?

Just seen an advert for the oven pride oven shelf cleaner stuff - I need some NOW!!

  • Feelie - I am glad your appointment went well hun. You seem to be getting it all sorted now :T

AM - how on earth can he pee in a toaster? Was he unsupervised? I know it's not right anyway but how the hell did he get the chance? Was he being egged on by the other kids? And how many other kids had had a go before he got caught??
Good luck with dealing with it!!

ooooooo MFD oven pride is amazing!! and the stuff works well on electric hobs which are otherwise impossible to clean too, i definitely recommend it!

i am going for a quick trot (slow waddle?) round the block to see if it helps move things along!
