  • Evening all - I thought I would have a go at writing a brief birth plan but I really can't think of what to put in it

I have a whole list of things that I have thought about and have discussed with Hubby but I am pretty easy going about it all...

Does ur notes have a section for it?
Mine does and its just lots of questions in sections,
    1st section says
Who do I want with me in labour? Partner? Family? Friends?
Howdo I feel about students being present at my baby's birth?

My answer to that bit is "My Husband - Matthew, one student OK"

I'll post all the qu's if you want? :)

There is some general guidance...but I am happy to go with the flow so when I discussed it with the MW she just laughed and said something along the lines of 'you don't have trouble talking anyway!'

So we didn't write any notes.

Think mine will be about 5 lines!

I had 9 students in my emergency c - section with DD !!!
Apparently I signed a form BEFORE I had my epidural to say that I didnt mind them being there !! I didnt know what I was signing for at that point, I was handed 3 forms and told to sign at the X's and did. My OH came in in his gown and his first words were, 'who are this lot???' :rotfl:

Elle There are quite a few diff styles in size 6 or 8 with diff leg lengths in the next sale online some had those stretchy bits just on the side pocket bits if thats the type u mean?? I don't like those ones myself I like the ones with a jersey panel which can come up to ur boobs

Yeah, they're the ones I have but I don't like much. Maybe I'll like them more when I'm bigger.

I have work trousers from Topshop which have elastic through the inside of the waistband - the elastic has button holes in it, then there is a button on each side where you pull the elastic as tight as you want it and button it on, then make it looser as you get bigger. They look just like my old work trousers from the outside. I want jeans like that.

I think I might have just found some on Dorothy Perkins' website - in the sale for £15 too! :D

Pain Relief: Entinox. Pethidine if required (prefer not to). Epidural as last resort.
Intervention: I would like to discuss options first but ultimaltely what is best for baby.
Delivery: Onto chest. Midwife to cut cord unless husband expresses a wish to.
Third Stage: I would like to try to deliver placenta naturally (esp if in Birth Pool) but to review regularly
