Yeah with DS I craved salty things like Macdonalds fries.
I don't know I don't log on for 1 day and there are 5 million pages that take me 1.5 hours to get through! AND you seem to be talking a lot about sex which makes me sad. We are classed as high risk and advised to avoid it till at least 20 weeks.... which is a million years away....
Doc has prescribed me some anti sickness pills and I go to pick them up today - been feeling rough for ages now. Hoping the 'good bit' kicks in soon0 -
I look like I'm an intravenous drug user! At least I haven't bruised yet this time. Normally I bruise a treat even in the arm - but so far just punctures, no unsightly bruisesDFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!

Well 'he' came home at 1am last night, no idea where he was but the fuel is down almost 100 miles. Still in his bed even though I asked him to get up and look after DS2 while I took DS1 to school, in the end I sent DS2 up to him. I am so angry with him! This is all because I called him useless after he yelled that he cant put the kids to bed by himself as DS2's bed needed changing (I asked him to strip it 2 hourse before that which he didn't). So he went off on one. I asked him to do 3 things yesterday, 3 things. He did 2 both with bad grace and took as long as he possibly could so that next time I'd do it myself. So I spent most of the night in tears last night just thinking about stuff. He gives me no support, everything he says about the pregnancy is negative and I'm sick of making excuses. It was bad last time but that doesn't mean that he can be an unsuportive lazy git. I've had enough.
I needed that moan. Got a cup of tea and some crisps.0 -
Hugs to all who are feeling fragile.
That would be me, then! I'm really sorry about what happened to Shoppie (had a mmc myself with my first and its my biggest fear this time round) but I was also really upset by her later post about everything which could go wrong for a 40+ mother (which is me). I'd actually stopped reading all the other pregnancy forums on the net, because it was upsetting me to be blindsided by these kinds of stories when I wasn't expecting it, but had felt safe still being here. I've also been really upset by the David Cameron story, as our DD is quite severely disabled (not so bad as Ivan in that she can walk, but she can't talk or understand much either, and has few independence skills) and the combination of pregnancy hormones and just identifying so much with that story has left me on the brink of tears for the last few days.
So, in my fragile, and also pretty exhausted state last night, I started to get some cramping pains, which completely freaked me out. Decided to go and have a bath, and realised when I got undressed that my hands and feet had swollen and were both really puffy, which I've never had this early on before. I've had a good nights sleep though, and the pains and swelling are gone, so plan to have a really easy day today. Might even go back to bed for a few hours. Glad the kids are at school, and I'm not working at the moment.
Hope everyone has a good day.0 -
Nicki, I couldn't even read about David Cameron's little boy. DS2 has CP (thankfully not anywhere near as bad as that) but you just get so drawn in especially when you have experience of a disabled child.
Hope your feeling better today, glad the cramps went away!0 -
Nicki please call the MW and let her know about the swollen hands and feet hun... It might be nothing but it might not be. I don't want to upset you more than you obviously already are but I think you need to be aware that it could be pre-ecclampsia... please promise me you'll call the MW and speak to her today?DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! thats what i was going to say, one of the symptoms of pre eclaimpsia is meant to be extreme swelling isnt it? i hope everything is ok for you.
i only came on here yday and didnt ever speak to shoppie i dont think but i really feel for you, i'm so sorry x
i just had a good chuckle about all your "going to hospital" outfitswhat do you give birth in? do they give you a gown or are you meant to take a nightie or something? i've only thought as far as putting a outfit in the bag for coming home in! something else to worry about!!

My old hopsital just gave us hopsital gowns as they are easier for them. Ask for two, one to wear as a gown (opens at the back) and one to wear as a robe, then your covered up.0
