    :)Still searching .....:)
  • Isn't it a shame you can't set up an automated reply like you can with emails...

Maybe I can change the answerphone message to 'p1ss off, we will tell you when the baby arrives and we are ready to talk to you' :rotfl:

    oh that's so sad searching.

    oh no poor pauline:(

doesnt look like he will be back until later:( charlie is in bed sleeping so am getting a break but think being stuck in the house is driving us all mad. going to find out about toddler groups for him this week.

i hated when everyone was texting and phoning me, i just wanted to scream at them! or when you go to the shop and people would say 'you not had that baby yet' well obviously not???
What's for you won't go past you

But most phones let you save a template text... you could write something along the lines of.... Sorry nothing yet, but we will let you know when something happens.

Then all you need to do is add the mob number and send :D Rather than writing individual replies :D

Midwifes in my area are useless. I see a different one each time I go and they all tell me something different. Despite the hospital saying that I should have my blood pressure monitored weekly I still have gone 4 weeks without seeing anybody. I hate going to my appoinments as they are always running late then despite the appointment being booked for 20 minutes I am in and out in 5. All they do is check unrine,BP and have a quick feel and ask how I am whilst not really listening to me anyway as they are too busy writing in my book.
mine are shocking too, i've seen 5 now and they keep referring me to my doctor instead, had really low blood pressure which nobody picked up on til my OH's dad (a paramedic) looked at my notes and nearly had a fit! also had protein in urine since 16 weeks and it took til 32 weeks for someone to send some for testing even though i told them i thought i had a UTI! on the urine subject, does anyone elses midwife test urine and then give it back to you instead of tipping it out and rinsing the tube? everytime i go i have to ask her to do it and they make a bit of a fuss about it, sorry but i've carried it around in my bag already by this point i dont want to take it home again!!

I'm having a pregnant hormone moment! I WANT MY BODY BACK!
I want my husband to find me sexually alluring again! I don't wanna be big and fat and pregnant and ugly no more!!!
    *sniffle*
Sorry had to go and tell someone and not really anyone else I can say stuff like that too :( I want my Roo, but I also want my hubby to fancy me and it just AIN'T gonna happen for another 3 months :( And it SUCKS! And I don't like it no more *sulk*

Aww, Tine, he does find you alluring but more in an incredible-my-wife-is-growing-our-baby kind of way. My DH told me I was amazing and he was so proud of me for giving birth and I'm sure your hubby will too :o.

And once Roo is here, he will fancy you even more - promise! :D

    xx

That's much more polite than what I was thinking ;)

Although I do feel really guilty because I have just ignored the phone and it was MIL - will pop round and see her in a bit instead I think :D

Mine just throw it away but at my old surgery they would give it back to you, one told me I should rinse it and re-use.
Some MWs ask me to take the lid off  its not like I've peed all over it
I had had one MW who sniffed it, I must have looked shocked coz she said "you can tell alot from the smell, in the old days they would taste it" _pale_
