Glam i think you can get private NT done at southport hosp so might be worth seeing what they charge, contact details here
Have you checked with MW if wazza do them tho?
here's a place in preston that does NT for £100 ithink (I'm just going though the places I bookmarked for scans :D)

the only thing I have on wazza's private scans is: "Email hellobaby@nch.nhs.uk or call on 662260 to book a scan or for more information."

Southport is a bit of a trek but thanks.
Preston is £100 for scan but an extra £88 for bloods, Liverpool is £150 for scan and bloods. I hadn't even thought about Wazza (duh) :o . Will have a look and see tomorrow.

Think I better go to bed soon, I struggle to get out of bed if I don't go before 11pm.

This thread moves far too fast for me lol.
Shop to drop if you are still on hun I have got 3 kids (no 4 in early stages yet) and also had 2 miscarrages inbetween.
The miscarrages were very definate strong contractions (like early labour pains) rather than a dull period type pain. The blood was dark rather than bright red. My doc said at the time bright red is good because it is likely an implantion bleed as it is fresh probably your blood, dark blood with clots etc (sorry not nice) are bad symptoms. I bled lightly at around 7-8 wks with both DS and DD1 and went on to have healthy pregnancies.

Try not to worry and if you are still bleedig in the morning ask for a scan, nothing like the reassurance of that little heartbeat on the screen.

Good luck to all those awaiting little ones

    night

WHAT?????????????????????????????

Are you telling me that RAEI offer NT scans and bloods routinely on the NHS?!!I know Wazza don't do it as my MW told me I'd need to go private. I might speak to one of the MW's in work tomorrow and see what I can find out about RAEI.

I haven't got my notes yet - pick them up at 12 week dating scan.

:o:o:o yep I was offered them to be done at either Leigh hosp or TLC in wigan I picked TLC coz they have newer scanners so better picks :D
I was at leigh last time but both times I have declined bloods and NT part of the scan so technically there's two going spare
