    morning ladies,

tinkerbell, i felt exactly the same as you at my 20 week scan. i was petrified, but i was so lucky that i had a such a wonderful sonographer who put me at ease. i told her i was worried (becuase i had hold of hubby's hand and she needed me to move over and said 'dont worry you can still hold his hand'...i said i am just worried something will be wrong). she was extremely reassuring.

try and enjoy the scan as best you can as in some areas it is the last time you get see bubs before you have him/her in your arms.

    will be thinking of you.

i have just been sent this from babycentre as i only have a few weeks to go...some might want to print it off now

half day at work for me today (woo hoo), lunch with a friend (woo hoo) and then back up the hospital (boo hoo), and then last half day tomorrow (woo hoo) and lunch with the boss (boo hoo).

hmmm.... hope krystal pops onto today whilst i am around, wanted to ask her about 'boobs working' question :D

    Morning all

Shelvis - We have just bought one of those quick cup, 3 second kettle things....seems ok at the moment. We have only had it a week though! regarding making bottles up, my midwife told me they should be made up with water above 70 degrees...that kettle pours water at 92 degrees so should be fine....However, I might actually do the same as you and get a cheapy kettle just for bottle making, just to be on the safe side!!!

I have my next MW appt at 39+5 - IF I haven't had the baby by then;) do you think she will do a sweep? or do they only do them once yo have passed your due date?

    morning mel,

if your midwife does do a sweep then can you send her my way???? i am only a day behind you.

i am not sure though if they do sweeps before your due date, but it's worth asking.

thanks for the itouch help yesterday, managed to get it to sync last night and have got a few albums on there now but will do some more tonight. i am too knackered to stay up any later than i have been

I will probably ask, and if she agrees I will definitely send her your way:) I just wish this baby would move back down again...I can't decide which is worse the pelvic pain when he was lower, or the return of the chronic heartburn:rolleyes:

Glad you got some toons on your pod!:T I am just going to have a quick fiddle today and work out how to put all my Oasis albums onto the computer and then into itunes to transfer them onto my phone:confused: although I might have to wait till dh gets back from uni.

Nope - Royal Glamorgan for me, I have to be consultant led and there was no way on earth I was going to the heath ;)
You laugh because I'm different - I laugh because you're all the same
  • Morning. I am the hospital at 1 so I am only in work until 11:45 :D

Mel - it's easy. Open itunes and poop in your cd - it will ask you if you want to copy the cd into itunes (or something to that effect) lets it do its business and then sync as usual to upload to your phone. Hope that makes sense!

from memory mel (and as you know with pregnancy brain i could be well and truely wrong), but if you load your cd onto your computer/laptop, open up itunes the cd will show under 'devices' on the left hand side (which is where you ipod shows too). then down the bottom right hand side it should have a button that says 'import cd'. if you click on that, it will start importing the cd. once imported you then just 'sync' your ipod and it will add to your ipod your cd.
