Thanks for the reassuring words ladies. I'm still very teary but I have had a bit of a nap to try and catch up on the sleep I am not getting at night.

Actually, I think I may be quite sick - I am ironing to make me feel better

GOOD LUCK AND LABOUR VIBES TO YOU SAMPAINTER.
I'm hoping that when the mw decides to give me a sweep, it will work i have tried everything else. Even looked into accupressure points and nothing, but i'm still very hopefull as I would really like to start in labour at home.
  • MFD - just a quick comment from my mum..... its easier a long thin baby than a short fat one..... she speaks from experience. I was the short fat one that caused her a 2 week hospital stay. My brother was the long thin one and she went home 3 hours after giving birth. :D

MFD, Thats exactly the reason I hate hospital consultants... I had loads of them telling me about my godzilla sized baby last time... I was almost disappointed that she wasn't a 12lber! I have a growth scan Wed for this one and if it comes out average I think I'm going to decline any further scans... I'm sure it will come out when it's ready at a size appropriate... And if the Dr tries to talk to hubby and not me I think I'll be inclined to point out which one of us is pregnant! I hate condescending Morons!

Sls, I love Caitlin... It's what ours will be if we have a girl!

I can't believe everyone was talking about bakewell pudding last night, I loooooooooooove bakewell pudding! (Love bakewell tarts too but you can pick them up anywhere lol)

Well I had my GTT today... No idea what the result is because they won't know for a couple of days... Why they couldn't just do the finger pr!ck I don't know... I used to live with a diabetic, I could of done it myself if they'd of asked... But no, they had to stab me repeatedly in my extremely shy veins with a hypodermic... On the plus side they took my 28wk bloods at the same time so I won't be butchered by the midwife tomorrow... They told me I could re-arrange the midwife seeing as I've already had the bloods but I'm determined to get some documentation from the midwife if it kills me... I need my grants!

And bith plans are done at a home visit at 36 weeks apparently... I won't hold my breath though...

Oh, and on a bad note... The sonographer today was the stoopid woman who did my 22 week scan so looks like I'm going to be stuck with her on Wednesday... Might tell her to shift her fat head this time if I'm so inclined... Don't know if I'm hormonal or just so sick of waste of time hospital appointments I'm becoming mean...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

      with my work

so glad this is my last week.

not sure if this is why i feel at the end of my teather here, but have just had enough now that the powers that be have changed and everything is such a struggle and a fight.

MFD - Hope you are feeling a bit better. I just dont really have the words to put together a constructive sentence of how i feel about what the consultant was like. Would be filled with so much colourful language it wouldn't get there the filter on here.

Seems a lot of work problems lately. Hope you can hold on for the final week AF.

OH has been told that if he wants to work till Midnight any night this week, they'll give him a hotel room so he doesn't have to go home! They've also offered him sandwiches at dinner time if that'll encourage him to stay late! Past two months he has worked a standard 40 hour week, but they now want at least 60 hours a week till April!

Aston was really well behaved aswell, and OH's Auntie bought the baby a cot mobile £40 it cost
I had my half a pizza supper on Friday, it took us 9 hours to get there as there was loads of traffic and I had to stop for the loo about 5 times.
