I'm looking into credit transfer at the moment sh1305, you need the original transcript, certificate and learning outcomes from your modules. Collecting that information is as far as I've gotten, so can't comment on how long they take to process it once it's been sent!

  • Hi :hello:

I haven't post for months so thought I would pop in. I feel really proud of myself as I've just submitted TMA02 (K209), it was a substantial amount of words shy of the 2000 limit so I'm quite nervous although TMA01 was also way under the word count and I rushed it and put quite little time and effort into it so deserved the inevitable fail. This time at least I feel like I did everything I could.

Good luck with your exams everyone, fingers crossed for you all. Let us know how you think you did afterwards.

Also, happy birthday to all the birthday peeps coming up, double celebrations after the exams are finished aswell! :D

    Feel better soon mum2one x

I haven't posted for ages but great to see so many people have nearly finished their courses!

I've got my W201 exam on the 13th. My OH left me with 3 children at the end of August and I had my final TMA due in on the 15th Sept. Today I am proud to announce that despite the enormous stress I have been under I got 95% in my assignment giving me an overall assignment score of 91%, so just the exam now.

I plan to start revision at the weekend as this is the only time without the children :(

Happy revision for those with exams and enjoy your future courses.
I have already booked an interim one to use up the last of my money- introduction to book-keeping and accountancy :D

Hi, Im starting aa100 on 2nd October too, have just about finished K101, just the exam to do on 2oth Oct.

Good luck with it I cant wait to get started. I did K101 coz I thought I wanted to be a health visitor, but one voluntary placement later and realised I couldnt do it (too emotional). So I am following my childhood dream to be a history teacher, I though I would never be able to do it when I was younger but I am gonna give it my best shot, and getting my degree whilst I am a stay home mum is fab coz I should have qualified by the time the youngest starts school and then I can start proper teacher training....I cant wait and its four years away yet lol x
  • Hi everyone. I've just registered for W100. I don't start until January but really revved up and hoping it comes around quickly. May use it towards an open degree but really fancy the full LLB. Will have to see how this course turns out first tho'.

As soon as xmas out of the way the course starting date will fly by, I did W100, and absolutely loved it, I was tempted to carry on with the law side, but ended up doing the business courses instead. In a way its a hard course, but emotionally rewarding without sounding daft, and you get a Certificate in Law and can put that after ur name, I tend to do that if I'm writing to the school;)!!
    xx

what an afternoon, just managed to get my eca off for DB234 with a minute to spare at the post office, got to be at the OU for friday, luckly the postman was running late so its gone in 2ngts post, so fingers crossed please, that it get there for Friday and I pass, got 75+ on the 3 assisgnments, so half on the right track.

Got to go though it again next week, got another ECA (BU130) luckly thats an email so have a couple of extra days grace.

Then as I'm a gluten for punishment, I've got E110, Sports, fitness and nutrition, that starts 2nd Oct, but haven't looked further than checking the box, seeing a heart monitor in there - put the lid back, I've added an openings course, Understanding Mgt, - thats suppose to last till Jan, but got the book done in 1 week, so its a TMA that gets marked but not counted, then the ECA - which everything relies on, hopeing that be ok. Then Feb got my 1st level 3, bit scary........take it easy after that. Just want to get a degree, my daughter be pround of me, and show the world that not all single parents just want to sit and watch Jeremy Kyle xx

Couldn't of put that better myself, although Jeremy Kyle does go on in the afternoon if madam is sleeping ;)

I haven't been here for ages, forgot all about it actually, mum2one you were right about DB123, I love it. Just got the ECA to do now, definitely thinking about doing DB234 in the future. Got all the materials for B120, start in November.

How does everybody find doing more than 1 course at a time? I was thinking about trying it, but I get so confused so easily, I might wait until I've completed a couple more courses first
