    Sorry to sound dumb:embarasse

Why are there so many threads re tesco misprices? I had one bookmarked - turns out it was number 8 - now we are upto 10ish.

Which is the one where I am likely to see most misprices?

    Thanks
  • Hi mrspatch! This is currently the best thread for Tesco misprices. The others are older threads that are probably closed now. Threads get closed to new posts when they reach about 1000 posts I think.

Today I got Colgate Total Fresh Stripe toothpaste, 100ml tube. SEL said reduced to clear 75p, but it went through at £1.99.

Can I ask, sorry to be stupid, but are people deliberately buying things knowing they will be wrongly charged so they can get a refund (well double refund!) ?   Deliberately wasting staff members time ?
I take it you go to several stores, as if anyone tried that here we would quickly be recognised (not that I would do it in the first place!). TBH anyone trying that in a store I worked in would be banned if it happened more than a couple of times!

Money saving! It's what the forums are all about.

If they took the SEL's down when they expired it wouldn't happen.

Along with the member of staff not doing their job properly?

We're helping them by pointing out their mistakes. Whether or not they learn from them is their choice.

If Tesco were concerned about this they would learn from their mistakes and remove labels on time. I pointed out a mis-price to a member of staff once (stupid of me I know.) Went in 2 days later it was still there!
