bikerchick: enjoy your HOT date!! (just jealous really! 19 more days till OH comes home...)
rainmac: In Scotland we can register children for direct care through pharmacist, you get calpol, brufen etc, headlice treatment free if you take child in with you. I don't know if you have a similar scheme in England........save you some money. Head lice.......bleurgh!
Wish England would bring themselves up to those practises, by the time you get into the docs, then the chemist...........top it all letter home from school head lice is doing the rounds in dds class.......
had a busy day at work, need to pick grumpy son up from band practise at 4pm and dd1 has missed bus, school phoned ,so told them to send her over to Band practise too!
I have a parent council meeting tonight at 7pm so will have to drag kids with me for that.
Birthday tomorrow for dd2, 9 going on 19! so in between all to'ings and fro'ings need to make a pavlova tonight and some butterfly cakes or something simple!! Grandparents are coming over at 4.30pm tomorrow.
Anyway ,must dash, catch you all later, Mx

Afternoon ladies
Hope all the hospital appointments went well and the kiddies are feeling better.
Did some more pages for OH's book (am up to 2003 so not far to go). I am using a scrapbook (12 x 12) but am only putting in photos of his family and my family plus things that happened for that year etc if you know what I mean, no embellishments or any thing like that. As for putting photos on here, its a bit difficult as the only one who has a phone that takes good pics is OH and I cant ask him to take them.
I am a bit stuck on a few of the pages (only about 2 or 3) because I dont have any pics of him for that year. It has been very difficult aging the photos anyway as when I ask him he just says he cant remember and his Mum dont really speak to me so I cant ask her so a lot of them are near guesses.
Had to un-pick the 2nd side of the waistcoat last night as I had forgotten to do the button holes lol. Have started it again but not got far yet as was doing the book. Might be able to get some done tonight as my daughter is going to her club and OH has gone to see his Mum and stays over when he goes so will have the house to myself.
I am really jealous of you lot going to the NEC. I went a couple of years ago to a hobby and art thing there, dont know if its the same thing, my brother bought the tickets and took me and my two sisters for the day. He also gave us £20 each to spend :T, cant remember why he gave it to us but I was really happy as I didnt have much money of my own to spend. Bought some nice bits and pieces and had a lovely day. I wouldnt be able to afford to go again, not this year anyway as too many other things to pay out for.
Love the pics of the box, wish my Mum was still here, she would have loved one of those, she taught me loads over the years, sewing, knitting, bit of crochet, you name it she could do it. Will have to go now as I am upsetting myself, silly moo that I am.
Catch you later xx0 -
Afternoon All
Been a busy day again today, not getting anywhere with the House work. Really need to get on with it, just can't be bothered.
Got to go to OH's uncles flat again tomorrow and then busy all day wednesday and parents evening wednesday night, I might just get some free time over the weekend at this rate.
Hope your all having a nice day, gonna go tackle upstairs now and see what I can get done.
Catch you all in a bit
Sarah

Thanks for that Goochie, I was feeling very down this afternoon. Would you believe it my Mum must be looking over me as no sooner had I posted that post just now when I got an email from one of the competition sites I do on the daily clicks to say I have won a prize and its a bouquet of flowers worth £40 :j:j:j. And even more spooky I was just going to ring my OH to tell him and he rang me as I picked up my phone to see how I was lol. I burst into tears but am feeling better now. Cant wait to get my flowers, I had to ring the lady and she said they will email me with the date so I can be in. Will have to be digging out my vase and give it a wash lol.0 -

yay rufus that is great news
i love it when things like that happen. I think the exploding box would be a great memory box, whenever you are sad, spring it open and have all great pics and anecdotes of you and your Mum in there
