JordanShannon, sorry to hear about your day chick, you sound like a very determined lady though so I am sure if you stick to your plan you will get where you want to be :j
Think I will pop onto glitterpot too (shouldn't really) however what I often do is fill a basket with stuff, then leave it and so I can think about it and then don't end up ordering (which is probably good) today I was going to buy a £67multibuy set from ideal world but just about stopped myself!! think its like when you are on a diet, if you leave it a bit you might go off the idea lol
Jamtart I am totally with you on the challenge, have just sold some of my tesco vouchers (if anyone doesn't use them for deals like I usually do its worth selling them on ebay as you usually get twice the face value) but I need to have a clearout ofsome stuff so will be joining you on the challenge (if that's ok)
Have voted for Mel today

Thanks Orchid. Lol yeah, when i was a kid i was a VERY spoilt brat and i used to throw a strop until i got what i wanted, now i'm just determined and i don't throw a strop. (Unless its with OH when i can't see him :rotfl: Haha
)
I can't let it get me down otherwise i will never get back up againlol:D

..xxI am only me, no pretences, no second guesses.. It's the best I can do, I'm sorry if that's not good enough for you... I'm sorry I'm not good enough for you :A0 -

i am Guildford in Surrey0 -
jordanshannon - hang in there lass, sounds like you're keeping busy - I just ordered from that glitterpot today too - they have quite a few half price items.
Voted for mel - fab work hun.
rufusdog - I know how you feel - lost my mam last year, It doesn't feel right not doing something for her for mothers day so last year I started a memory jar of her - with photos, memories and quotes...I found a letter she wrote me when I was 16 - things like that - I've prettied it up with ribbons and flowers and I'll keep adding to it, I'll read it every mothers day and hopefully one day my kids will be interested to read it and look at it. Think I will make an exploding box to put in too(it's a large kilner jar)
I'm in Jammy. On sunday I tidied and decluttered our bedroom wardrobes - we have two and look at how much I got rid of!!!!!!!!
I only did it before christmas as well - it's amazing how much junk we accumulate (the photo includes the bin out the room but there was still loads came out the cupboards)0 -
Thanks scattymam, yep trying to keep busy, also retail therapy is working very nicely :rotfl:
lol
:T well done for your decluttering:T

Thanks for tha Scattymam, it is hard this time of year isnt it. It was 14 yrs in February but feels like it was just last year. I think I might start a jar or book or something and I'm going to try the exploding box.
As for decluttering, we sorted out our rooms yesterday as daughter was swapping bedrooms and we had 4 black bags of rubbish lol, well some of it was for recycling but none of it was any good to sell.0 -
Jordanshannon – so sorry about your day *hugs to you*
Mhagster – car booties are fine too, you can join in by sorting your stuff, pricing it and actually doing the boot sale
Welcome one and all to the fun! If anyone wants my spreadsheet for calculating profit from e-bay (after FVF etc.) please PM me with your e-mail address, can’t promise I will send it today/tomorrow but I will get it to you. I’m going to have my second 15 minute tidy before I go to bed as my desk is once more accumulating paper.
Well done scattymam!
I feel bad for talking about Mother’s day, but I know you all will never forget your Mums, and the memory jar/book/box seems like a nice way of joining in if you know what i mean
:ABeing Thrifty Gifty again this year:A

Hows all the sickly thrifty babies today??Love is the answer. At least for most of the questions in my heart,
Like why are we here? And where do we go?And how come it's so hard?
It's not always easy,And sometimes life can be deceiving,
I'll tell you one thing, its always better when we're together0
