bunbun - rusty has posted a link to scrapbook village - it's in castletown. If you look at their website in the gallery there are some photos of their crop ladies taken a while back. My mam is the happy lady at the front with the huge white scarf on. I love the shop and the ladies who work there live and breathe cards and scrapping.

Rainmac - I LOVE your stuff - I love your choice of papers and colours - they always work so well - every thing you make is so professional. I'm going to try one tonight. I think I need some new papers like yours - what do you tend to go for again - I need a new paper cutter and a new cricut cutting mat but they will have to wait a while cos we're skint so I will have to wait for new papers too.

Well, I was going to try my hand at an exploding box but I don't think I will bother now I have seen Rainmacs!! You are so neat and I agree with everyone that it really is a professional-looking piece of art :)

I have posted so much crubbish today I really need to cut down LOL. All that I can say is:

Yes my children will love me when they are older.. especially for the photographs I have on my blog of logan pulling his pants up his bottom...

Yes I wear that top when I am feeling brave because it makes my chest look better than it is and brings the attention there instead of my rolls of fat.. What a hot woman I am eek.. but.. I swear I didn't realise you could see it in the photograph and now I am pretty embarassed.. That's what taking silly photographs at 2am will do to yer!

I have just come back from getting the kids at my mom and dads in Telford and now I am knackered but I really fancy some scrapbooking. SO excited to see Lost tonight..Have also been really excited to see Celebrity Wrestling every saturday lol it is REALLY great!!!

So tomorow I might actually have something to show you all LOL haven't crafted in ages but figured I have best start making some things to justify spending so much on stash!!

Love and hugs to every one of you x

rainmac - the exploding box is gorgeous. Your mum is one lucky lady and you are very talented. I could not possibly create such a gorgeous thing. Well done. I love home/ hand made stuff. I can't get over it, that box is beautiful.
Could we see more pages please? The detailing is fantastic. I could do with a "hold my hand while you explain" tutorial how to make such beautiful box. :-)
Thanks for sharing with us. :T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T
    xxx

Thank you for the lovely comments :o Mine is seriously not accurately cut and folded but the design is very forgiving. I cut all my patterned papers to size as per the instructions but found if I had folded the card slightly wrong they didn't fit properly so I just re-cut them to look ok when stuck in the box. I used these instructions, same as Jammy used for her gorgeous box on her blog. The papers are by Basic Grey (mostly Sugared, some Cupcake I think), buttons and brads are Basic Grey and flowers are Prima.

It has taken me to the wise age of 39 and 11/12's to realise washing and ironing is perpetual!
I used to think' oh I just did 2 loads yesterday and here's another pile gathered! Where has it came from...?' mmmmm.... 3 kids , 3 loads of school uniform and my work clothes etc etc......and then my darling Oh will come home with 10 weeks worth of dirty socks! No actually hotel does them! lol

I like kids to wear clean clothes everyday, when probably it would do a couple of days.
Anyway,it's all there waiting for me.....!

I'm the same, clean clothes everyday for the boys, my mum thinks I'm mad, maybe I am but I like them to look nice ;)

Well reminded ... I have to do my littlys uniform :( ... I might persuade OH to iron his uniform or do it in the morning ;)

Do you know, I think I'm going to iron the uniform and do the rest tomorrow or Tuesday. So can't be bothered with it all tonight. Maybe some ironing fairies will come and do it while I'm asleep... :rotfl:

Rainmac - that box is absolutely beautiful, you are very, very talented. How did you manage to the edges of the paper rounded like that?

It's done with a little tool called a corner rounder punch, I love it, use it for the corners of cards too. Got mine from ebay but lots of craft shops sell them.

I hate gerkin too, yuck _pale_
