  • :santa2:Hello everyone!
Sorry I've been awol have been tackling my to do list - bit shorter now but I keep adding things on to it!

I haven't really done much for xmas this month - did get a copy of Michael Palin's book Himalaya from the £1 shop for DD's grandad so another gift off my list.

Had a quick tot up of pots I have:
£213 cash (topcashback finally coughed up for Vodaphone contract)
    £70 in vouchers
    Various points towards other vouchers.

    Spent so far:
£177.75 - pressies worth £432 :j including Wii fit for DD's birthday next week.

I've also arranged her party and sent the invites out - organised her stuff and knitted a pair of gloves to take on her school trip tomorrow (including labelling everything) - finished a cardi type thing to wear to a wedding next week - washed the dining room curtains and the rugs - cleaned out the fire and kept on top of the housework.

After the collapse of my craft shelves I got OH to look at them but they were past mending so he was muttering about having to go out to get new ones - found a set in the garage so made him go to the tip with the bits of the old ones and filled the car up with other stuff that was laying around - then had to put everything on the new shelves.

Sorted all the clothes to go onto eBay so now have the EU washing mountain to tackle but that can wait until after DD's birthday.

Have baskets ready for DD's step mum and my mum for mother's day and will deliver them at the weekend. And did basket for bride for wedding - am just waiting for my cello to arrive so I can wrap it

    And I wrote a blog

but other than that I've been sat on my bum :rotfl:.

I have been keeping up and hugs to anyone who needs them but I can't comment on everyone's posts much as I would like to :D

    Thank you!

It's really easy to set up - you should have a go - and now I don't have to fight with photobucket or my pics being too small :p and I will maybe at some point in the very distant future be able to update it from my phone :o.

couldn't decide between marmalade or marmite - I don't like either!

Hello, I am a newbie to this thread....read about it in the e-mail :D

It sounded right up my street since this year I am being super super organised, and done a fair bit of christmas shopping in dec

I actually bought a pressie at a silly price at the weekend and the cashier made a comment about what it was for and when I said it was christmas he thought I was a loon :o

Not very clued up on points/cashback etc though

I am fine with Tesco and boots, and I do yougov & pinecone surveys, but other than that...clueless

Look forward to saving money with you all :T

    Love

    And I wrote a blog

Sorry I snipped your post !

I had to laugh at the amount of papers you have ... you should do what others do and list a selection on ebay, you would then have been MSE by only paying a little on them as you would get some back ... I have been known to buy a small selection on ebay as it was cheaper than buying a full book ;)

Welcome to the madhouse thumper :) If you are stark raving mad then you will fit in well :rotfl:

My little lady isn't well, she started being sick at around 5pm tonight and I had to call the doctor just before 7pm cause she was that bad, have finally got her settled into bed but I imagine it will be a long night poor little thing. Doc said she has gastreoenteritus? can't spell it but I know it can be very nasty :( she is too young to understand so gets herself really worked up cause she is out of control :(

Rusty, I don't know if you have ever had gastroenteritis (or however you spell it) but it is very painful. It is like when you have that bad trapped wind. The stomach cramps and you feel very bruised inside but luckily it subsides after 48 hours but takes a lot out of you so she will probably be exhausted the poor little tot xx
