I actually managed to get a sealed tin at last lol, its only a small one though so I am going to put £2 coins in. First went in last night, just have to make sure I hide it or the others will be going at it with a knife when I'm not looking.
I'm up for a bit of sewing PLM, still have loads of knitting and sewing to do but a bit more wouldnt go a miss, would keep me busy anyway.
YAY you got a tin!! WOOPA go you :T Don't forget.. NO KEEPING TALLYYou going to open it up with me? I'm beginning to wonder if I will just be sitting here with a Boots catalogue opening my tin alone :rotfl:LOSER!!

rusty - I got a set of pens from the £1 shop that do the job quite well - there's a pic on my blog somewhere - like whispers brush markers but nowhere near the price.
plm - I have a tin too and am putting £1 in a day when I spend nothing on craft stuff although I really feel the need for a stazon pad I've been looking at them for ages.
***drum roll*** there are 4 and a bit bag lady bags so far and counting
am not going to make the bottom total for Jammy's challenge but am still waiting for OH to build my new laptop - that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it am going to put some paperbacks on the work for sale board tomorrow though.Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

Hi ladies
Rusty I love your cupcake box, so cute and looks very professional too :jYour total is soooooooooo impressive and inspiring you've worked so hard lady :T
PLM, I'm in for a bit of crafting for gifts. I've been having a look at things I can make for my craft stall in August and am going to try altered A5 clipboards (have found one sold by Woodware for £1.75), journal jars a la Organized Christmas site, teabag holder card - http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=392832, post it note holder - http://ladynthestamp.blogspot.com/2008/05/post-it-note-wallet-tutorial.html...
Mel you forced me to go into Home Bargains today after you showed off your barginous bargains yesterday, I had to get me some of those cute froggies. Picked up a load of other bits and bobs too and well chuffed with what I've come home with, thank you
Jammy, will PM you with my total, not making anything this week but am sorting some stuff to sell for next week. If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
Forgot to say, Rusty, I tried stamping years ago with wood mounted rubber stamps and everything I tried was completely carp. I have recently bought a few acrylic clear stamps and a Staz On ink pad (most from ebay) and I can't believe that I can now stamp. The only advice I would give is to pat the ink onto the stamp whilst it is face up on a flat surface rather than tapping the stamp down on the inkpad. Does that make sense. The latest copy of Creativity magazine has a set of acrylic stamps for free on the cover. The mag costs £2 and available here with free p&p... http://www.cuttingedgecrafts.co.uk/cart.php?target=product&product_id=21688. The Basic Grey stamp sets at £1.99 a set look soooo cute... http://www.craftsulove.co.uk/miscellaneous_stamps.htm. I'm off to see if I can find them elsewhere with cheaper postage
Still have everything crossed for your OH's interview news x:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -

SylphRaven Bought up some excellent points she found from last years OrganizedChristmas Rudolph Club and I thought that perhaps next month we could have a crafting for christmas month
Early bird Christmas crafting will be on QVC and I have found some brilliant things for you all to make.
What does everyone think? Who fancies getting some materials with me and having a bash at some home made gifts?
i think this is a fab idea PLM as will no doubt be thrifty and will definitely be gifty (as long as a simple minded soul like me can make something half decent to give as a gift of course!)
Let us know what materials we need etc etc looking forward to it!0
