Haven't read through the thread much so apologies for that Been at hospital most of the day and night with G'dad. The end is nigh sadly, but I have stopped being so upset because he is now relatively peaceful whereas the last few days he has been in a lot of pain. BUT I dont' want to turn this into a dark depressing thread SO....tell me what crafty things you have made and what you have all been up to

ETA: I have work on my back about lack of progress this past 10 days despite knowing the situation and I have never had a greater desire in my life to tell someone to F*** OFF! in a very loud voice!

ETA2: Promise i will catch up with all your PMs about the challenge. I havent forgotten and am SO proud of you all

Only quick post today as I've just got in after an afternoon shift and I am shattered.

We picked up my doggie's ashes today and I feel so much better now that she has come home and very impressed she came back in a solid wooden casket with her name engraved in brass on top. Bless xxx

Shelley Glad that your doggie has come home to stay

The little doggie caskets are beautiful. My mum has her 2 doggies in one each... Kept of all places at the side of the TV the little one used to sit there all the time,we think its because then he thought everyone was watching him

i didnt know you were a stamp collector choccy! I sold all 10 of mine,never really got into stamping as don't have the patience! The cards are really nice, I just sneeked a peak

Thanks for that. I just sent my boss an e-mail which basically dared him to make me do anything this week. He came back saying to chill out and dont worry about work as gdad more important! - If he had said anything like "your work is more important" I may have told him where to shove it! LOL!

Don't worry about saying blood bars are freaky LOL I can totally agree with you. I don't know what it is but vampirism is like my guilty turn on.. I am sure you lot have yours too.. I'm not saying Sawyer is as strange as biting necks though haha!!

Thanks for asking about my sister. We had the results back from the tests that confirm she has an infection which is good news as this could explain the redness but the cancer ones will take a further 3-5 WEEKS. I felt like I was going insane when they told us this. It's not fair. I am just trying not to think about it right now.

Jammy I don't know what to say to make you feel any better.. it's a waiting game and I only hope that the love in your life will help you to heal faster. We all love you here and anytime you need me just reach out to me and I will always be there to hold your hand and make it alright xx

UPDATE for everyone

As we can all see Jamtart is having a tough time right now but she is as strong as ever and wants us to continue our challenge to raise money. Let's make her proud and really boost our totals to show off on Rudolph day.

Please may I suggest you keep a track of your totals and then PM Jamtart once a week instead of each time you make some cash. I know she works hard in RL and don't want to inundate her with even more work.

This thread is a place where we all come to be thrifty and gifty, but as time has gone on we find ourselves a community and we have a strong friendship. With this, we share our problems and our ups and downs. Sometimes there seems to be more downs then ups and it can be hard to know where to start in your replies.

Please don't feel you cannot share your problems because others seem greater. Sometimes it feels nice just to share and also it feels good to read others and know you are not alone in life.

Please don't feel you are overwhelmed and cant post because you don't know what to say.

Please don't feel you need to reply to each and every person. Do not feel that if you post how happy your day was and do not respond to someone before you who was sad that you are doing wrong.

When people are sad, what lifts them up is not always the words of support, but the happy stories and the good times. You cannot escape the positivity and it really gives you that extra push towards a happy day.

PLM - it is lovely that you've thanked so many people And considering you've only got just over a thousand posts (I don't mean "only" like it's a bad thing, just that you've got a lot of thanks compared to your posts, just shows what a lovely person you are )

Shelley - that's nice that you've got your dog back home with you

I'm sat up watching the first Harry Potter film, can't sleep again I think I might go back to the doctor, he gave me these tablets because they'd help me sleep and they did for a while but they're not now so there's not really any point taking them. I guess one of the reasons I can't sleep is because i'm getting up late, it's a vicious circle

You know I absolutely love the harry potter books but the films do not do them justice at all. I don't really like any of the cast, I loved the first Dumbledore but the one they've got now is rubbish. Some of the older cast members are okay but most of the actors are just so wooden, and Daniel Radcliffe is just shocking, how he ever got that part I will never know. Sorry, i've had a harry potter filled day! :rotfl: Finished reading the 5th book and watched the first and 5th films

Right this is over now so I am going to try and go to sleep, wish me luck!!
