I wish we had some craft groups here. I have found a german speakers club which will be handy as DS has chosen German in his options ;) So something to keep in mind

Evening everyone, I had a lovely day, thank you all for your good wishes and cakes, really nice end of the day to come home and read them all. We went to Ashford after all and was pleasantly surprised as not been there for a while.

Well thats me done for the day, I'm off to put my feet up and watch the footy.

Blimey Rusty, that's some thriftiness :D. Maybe you could give us some lessons? Well done you, that's a brilliant result for your little one's birthday and what a running total for the £75 challenge :T:j:T:j:T:j. I'm nearly at £100 but nowhere near as good as you.

    Thankyou all :D

Rainmac I scour ebay for ages!!! ... find loads of little bargains with typos in the titles and everything like that. I think I only physically bought 2 things from a shop and I even shamelessly paid a whopping £3 full price on a toy for her birthday! I think with everything that has been going on I didn't want to cancel her birthday so to speak so started a while back. I started Toms presents back in Jan lol ... his birthday is Sept. I doubt it will be as thrifty though :( although I am trying!

Oooh edit: sold one of DD's pushchairs on ebay ... I paid £25 for it second hand so we had a smaller one .... it sold a couple of hours ago for £46.58 :D:D:D:D:D

Rusty oh my god that cakes looks sooo goood, I think I am going to have to visit that bakery in may when I am in vegas

BF is at the United match tonight keep watching the crowds closely to see if I spot him. My dad fixed my car today from the accident I had the other week, its as gud as new and not a penny spent......Well I didnt pay anything my dad did how mse of me :money: needed a new radiator grill and head light which came to £60 and my dad fitted them aswell so saves on expensive garages.

I got some good news today I have an interview next tuesday with the NHS. its only part time but its something. Need to start preparing myself for it now x x x

No interesting or even boring groups in my area!
What would the male naturists do if a woman turned up?

Last year I had to do a 10 week first aid course for work, 2 hours a week on a Thursday evening. First night I turned up and went to the room I was told to, sat down, said hello....the group leader said something about the previous week's class and I asked was this not the first week, no we started last week......a few minutes more passed, no sign of bandages or even a plaster...is this the first aid class....no it was a befrienders group...I often wonder how long I would have sat there if I had not heard the words last week........wandered down the corridor and found my group. I loved my first aid class and we had such a laugh!

I have done nothing remotely like getting ready for a holiday tonight infact i have done nothing much at all. Have watched tv and made dinner and that's all. very lazy!
