    Happy Rudolph day everyone!

Just a flying visit as I need to get DD into bed and then get my needles out while OH is away this evening - I now have orders for 6 bags thanks to no1 most important and specialist customer. OH says we have enough fluffy bags but he seems to have missed the fact that we currently only have 2 in the house and one of those is a school raffle prize:rotfl:.

Fantastic suggestions plm - don't think I'll be making cards this month as won't have the time.

Got a few bits for xmas today as remembered it was 25th - radox elements bath stuff - 3 lots at £1 shop - should be £1.95 each and also some Evian Affinity body lotion stuff rrp £4.99.

have decided to do ex MIL a hamper this xmas and will do one for current MIL as well although we don't normally exchange gifts with them.

Also got a set of pink hat boxes from Argos that someone posted on the hamper thread so 5 hamper boxes there :D.

Am serious on the de-clutter this month - have already booked a skip for next weekend and need to go through the garage this weekend and decide what we need to keep as OH is clearing it in his week off - he has threatened to put my craft stuff in there :eek::eek: but don't think he's brave enough :rotfl:.

Am even planning on getting up in the middle of the night to do a car boot once I find one that won't take an hour to get to - I'm not thrifty enough to leave the house at 5:30 on a Sunday for anyone's xmas pressie :rotfl:

hugs to anyone who needs them especially Shelley - and everyone knows where we are if we need each other - sorry I can't post replies to everyone but I have been reading even if I've been quiet :p
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended :p

I think 15 sounds fine mel. Last year I probs wouldn't hsve joined in cos I would have thought that was too much. But after getting to know everyone better 15 seems like nowt for such good friends.
Can items be made? Guess so - so you can carry on the money to another gift.
Been so busy - will photograph and tally up my pressies tomorrow cos I'm really tired now! Been thinking of loads of stuff to do for the advent swop. My mam used to appreciate home made things but nobody else on my lists do so it will be fun to make some things for someone I know will appreciate them.

Know what you mean about no one appreciating gifts, as I made a photo calender for a friend who loves photography and she looked at me as if to say "what is this tat that you have made" , other people think my hand made cards are a 'cheap' option! Philistines!

I've calmed down from last night now, but my rant seems a bit daft now, it wont though the next time I am wound up, which will probably later on tonight.

Its absolutly miserable here in manchester suprise suprise, just got back from the gym and put my pj's back on. feeling rough with a bad chest, so feeling very very sorry for myself right now. Oh what I'd give for a bit of sunshine.
Cant clean to cheer myself up house is spotless (no thanks to dad and his hording ways) if anyone needs a house cleaner I'd be quite happy to take on the job x x x

    Morning ladies!

The scan was super cool. We're definitely on Team Pink, which is a relief after I bought a metric ton of baby girl clothing on ebay. The doctor always shows us the 4D image so we can see how the features are developing, and she's looking less and less like a squashed version of my husband's father, which is wonderful. She has the beginnings of beautiful lips like my OH, and long delicate hands like mine. I'm going to be keeping a shotgun at the door when she's older ... but unless a miracle occurs she'll have insane hair like both of us and that might frighten the boys off! (For those of you who saw the wedding photo, there is a hole in the ozone layer above our heads from the amount of hair products we used between us - mine stayed in the curls we wrestled it into; his did not).

I'm so excited! 22 weeks today! And in about 18 weeks we will have a whole small extra person in our family!

Sugar spun, at least you'll know how to deal with your LOs hair when she arrives, my parents didnt have a clue how to deal with my almost afro like curls so kept my hair short, queue mini afro at times & a rather unhappy teenhood because of that & some rather nasty teenagers.
I'm sure you get more excited with each scan.

You can always come & clean here Shevs, we've got a tiny bit of sunshine as well so shall try & will it over to you.

Rainmac, thank you for the rocky road recipe, made it last night & its YUMMY! I need a tiny bit of practice with it to get it as nice as yours but I'll enjoy practicing :D

Hope you got through work ok Shelley xx

Any old excuse Furry, we know you cant keep away

Mothers day stuff was FINALLY reduced today in Asda, but it was just tat left :(
I held off going up to Sainsburys & Tesco's until next week, they probably wont have any Mothers day stuff left by then but whenever I go up there I seem to spend a bomb, thanks for the advice though Plums.

I did pop into M&S today to look at there sale stuff, & picked up a cardi for LO. He chose a Shaun the sheep T-Shirt to wear on his birthday (Monday) & 2 pairs of stripes PJs, I love the red & black striped ones! all in the 50% off sale. Also went to House of Fraser to grab some sewing suff to finish LOs soft furnishings for his room, they've got upto 25% off "brands" today & tomorrow. Not too sure what they class as "brands" but there was discounts on almost everything I saw.

Sugarspun - glad to hear your scan went well and yay you're having a little girl! :j Everybody I know who is pregnant is having a girl!

Having another good day :D Got up, had a shower, washed my hair and in about 15 minutes I am going to sort all my ebay stuff out. I'm going to do the postage through paypal, it's so much easier, I know whatever is left is all mine then. Going to leave it in there to buy presents off ebay I think.

Feeling very happy and motivated, yay! :j
 Think happy & you'll be happy
    I :heart2: my doggies
