Mum2one your post sure made my heart feel like it was bursting with love. You always have such beautiful things to say and you don't know how much they mean to people like me. Thank you so much for making my day.. for about the fiftieth day this year x Your chocolate box made me literally ROFL. I always wondered why you was nuts. Lee gets spoken to like a little boy all the time and that is if they talk to him at all or speak to me. It is brilliant when he is buying something and he gives the money then they give the change to me  You can only laugh.. and prod :p xxx

Shelley OMG i feel so bad that you went to town on my advice OMG!! NOoOoOoOoO I will have to find you a loaf tin and send it now LOL. Wonder if they have them on Amazon or something. Glad you managed to find a remote.. think I need one of those!!

Jammy knowing how fertile this thread is.. could you be pregnant  I will have to check out your blog in a sec.. CHRISTTTTMASSS!! I was talking about me and you to lee last night with our Elf lines LOL. 'For gods sake stop eating all the cotton wool'.

Skiergirl My husband has got quite embarassing now.. he will literally shout to scare them or catch their ankles with the chair :o Actually.. I USED to be embarassed until I had a better experience of the idiotic general public!!

Goochie Did i fail to mention it was chicken cup a soup :rotfl: I do love him!! xx

I have seen the hamper thread and it looks awesome. I was thinking last year about running an advent swap between us because we knew each other so well and a few of us were upset because our partners were very 'tell me what you want and i'll buy it' and there was no magic to look forward to!

I contacted the board guides about it and was told it was a bit tricky because of the no selling/swapping policies and liability and I would have to take responsibility and do it in my own space ie. a different forum. In the end I think there was a lot going on so I just left it.

Advent swap is where you have a budget and buy your swapee 24 presents to open, one a day. We all open and take pics and share every day.

I run this every year on my scrapbooking team and didn't know if anyone here would have been interested?

i love love love this idea!

So very Christmassy and such fun to open something everyday! I am very excited just thinking about it!! Last year I did an advent thing for the kids where everyday they either had a special activity, a craft or a little pressie etc etc every day for advent all with a chrimbo theme of course. It was great and I loved doing it!!

If this happens please count me in!!

PLM - "But I love smiling, smiling is my favourite! :D" Nope don't think its a bitesized-jamtart problem :) (you just want more thrifty gifty children on this thread I can tell :D) but it has been brewing for a few days :( just hope I am feeling better soon as Mr Jamtart doesn't know the meaning of the word "poorly". Hope your manflu gets better soon (although it sounds like woman flu, which is very serious)

Shevs - totally meant to reply and say "please can I come in your suitcase" what a great boyfriend. I think I will direct mine to your post :D

Hayley - put Lost on its bound to cheer you up! :D ok, no it probably won't solve anything. Can you go back to the doctors? perhaps a different one?

Hayley you don't make us depressed. I think it is a good idea that people give a real representation of life so that those of us who are struggling don't think we're insane. Everyone is always giving a glossy 'sex in the city' type depiction of their lifestyles and it makes you feel like you was just not good enough and that your life is completely abnormal. It's nice to read on here that people are not so perfect and I am not alone x If you ever need someone to talk to I am always here. My best friend killed himself and I never even saw it coming. Every single day I can not believe how blind I was and never stop wishing I could turn back time just to tell him how much he meant to me. I hope you can find some happiness today because you are a wonderful person and you can not change what has happened, it was their decisions to make. Don't waste your own life xx
Oh yeah...I thought you were all totally ladies who lunch in smart pencil skirts, 8 inch heels and little clothes who go out in the depths of winter without a coat but wearing sunglasses? When you aren't lunching on salad leaves, don't you go home to your perfectly tidy show houses and smile at your perfect kids (who you have left with their nanny called Olga whilst you have been lunching)? I thought you then came home to craft the afternoon away, catch up on your blogs and then cook a meal for your dearly beloved before an evening out at the opera with the women's institute?

Have I got the wrong end of the stick?!?! :D

I know I forgot last month (actually.. I was ill LOL when does it ever end?!) but you don't have to treat me like I have christmas amnesia :p The challenge was to give a gift to someone you love for mothers day, whether it be a phone call or a box of chocolates. As for THIS months Rudolph.. AHHhhhahhHHh just because you are my partner in crime Jammy that does not mean you get sneaky peeks..

    Santa doesnt get no breaks!!
