Still enjoying my hols tho weather not that great but who cares!!! I actually had a really nice time shopping with my daughter today and I got lots of scrap book bits from Target and Joann's (was a really small Joann's with limited stuff so only bought from the dollar bargain bit tho did manage to get some ribbon for 25 cents a roll!!

Hope everyone is feeling better today, I was gonna have a moan about how down I was yesterday and this morning but after reading all your sad posts I gave myself a slap round the head and told myself to pull it together.

I never really know what to say to anyone, but my thoughts and love are with you all through whatever trials you are facing....

I've a long list of jobs to get through today, and I better go shop and get the stuff for pancakes aswell.

And Can we please make sure there is a coffee shop where ever we meet up pleeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaseeeeeeeeeeee......

big hugs to you pinkladymel - I've always felt like an outsider - I read rejection even when it isn't there - don't know why! well I kind of do but completely different experiences from what you've been through - you've been through so much but you have your soulmate as your husband (I remember you calling him that once) and your lovely children now - you've had a lot of crap it's as though your reward for all that is your lovely family now. Does that sound too cheesy...it's true though.

How are you doing jammy? what's your budget like for mothers day. If you want to do something scrapbookish why don't you create something that needs to be filled in by her at a later date - like the journalling jars or maybe in a book format??? this saves the tears on mothers day that you said you have enough of right now!

No school today - YYYAAAAAHHHHHOOOOO!!!!
This means a lazy day - slept in this morning cos didn't have to take hubby to work - I'm going to set the house straight but can take my time with it. Been trawling the internet for surveys and money making ideas this morning.
need to make some money on ebay so I can order transfers for the t-shirts I'm making for easter pressies. Think i'm going to have a car boot sale at easter so thinking I might try and make a card a day to put on my stall too.

Mel - you are definitely not an outsider here - where would we be without your slices of wisdom? I have the odd cancer panic as well especially as I smoke but I worry far more about OH's health as he never bothers and wouldn't know what I would do without him after it took so long to find him . My mum has parkinson's as well which is another worry.

Enough of this I'm running low on tissues handing them out to everyone and I'll blow my budget if I buy another value box :rotfl:.

I'm going to be crawling the walls later as DD is having her friend to play this afternoon and will be treating me like a servant plus the cat woke me up at 5:30 yelling for her boyfriend so had to chase her round the house to lock her in the utility room :mad:.

Then OH rang as he was lost on the way to his course - and I can help how??? The place isn't on his sat nav and he never thought to do a trial run from his hotel last night - bit my lip before I suggested either ringing them or asking for suggestions coz he wouldn't do that in a million years :rotfl:Why???

morning everyone

We have pancakes all year round so that task is done all the time. I made a lovely bread pudding over the weekend as had loads of bread left over, poured the milk over and didnt have enough to cover the bread so had an idea of pouring a tine of custard over the top instead. thought it would come out a mess but it was lovely so will be doing that again.

As for Mothers day, I lost my Mum back in 1995 but we usually go to the Crem to take some flowers for her so will be doing that this year, then I spend the rest of the day with my Dad while OH goes up to visit his Mum.

Anyone here who does BP, I have just joined at the weekend and have redeemed my first lot fo points for an Amazon voucher. Can anyone tell me how you "save" these up please? I have used Amazon to buy things before but never used vouchers.

I had joined littlewoods bingo too to do the free scratchys but after ahving a win my OH withdrew the lot instead of leaving me 10p in there, then on Saturday I got an email saying I had 50p deposited in there to play the weekend. Well the money didnt go in till Sunday but now I can do the free scratchys so well pleased, up to 70p already :beer:

HI all, I got a £5 morrisons voucher yesterday with my petrol, so that is going in my neutral fund (can't believe how excited I am about a fiver )

Plm You really have been through a lot chick, but me thinks you get a great:grouphug: on here from all your gifty pals....You do seem to be able to understand at least why you feel like you do, which a lot of people bottle up, so that is probably a good thing, also as scattymam1 mentioned you have a lovely husband and kids...maybe sometimes though you give too much and need to step back and relax (get spoiled) a bit as doing too much can catch up with you...

Hugs to everyone who is not in a great place at the mo, I have been really poorly over the weekend and have got the enviable job of having my 3 all cooped up now for the week (and no-one around to help out) my twins are a real handful I love em to bits but they fight/scream/generally drive me mad sometimes.....am off now as they are both fighting to get on my lap and pulling at each other and crying arrgghhh

I love it when I get the morrisons voucher for petrol - cos it's my local station anyway so I'm getting something for nothing - although dh used my last one - screamed blue murder at him cos it's supposed to go in my neutral fund!
