Hello everyone :D Cheers for adding the photos to your blog PLM, could you not have rubbed out my quadruple chins  :D

I too had a fab day and it was lovely to meet everyone, took hardly any photos but the couple I did are on my facebook page (seemed to miss mel75 for some reason ). I bought quite a lot of stash - including a very bargainous Fiskars cutting thing for £3 - cheers for that furrypig ;) - it was being sold on another stall for £15  Haven't used it yet, looks a bit scary and complicated. I bought a couple of fab round scrapbooks in silver tins (£2 each) - going to decorate them for pressies. Bought several lovely things from craftworkcards :T

Furrypig bought lovely pressies with her, here's a pic of my pyramid box and the pig tag (made by furrypig's daughter) that was on my pressie of little cross stitch kits and some alphabet cards, thank you so much lovely lady :D

And, this morning I receieved a mystery package from the postie with this inside...

A beautifully wrapped bar of choccie from the lovely Rusty, thanks lovely lady ;) Oh is working all afternoon/evebing so the choocie will be hacked into tonight once kiddies are in bed.

Hope you're feeling ok Rusty after your fall - big hugs for you ;)

Goochie - so sorry to hear about your job news, glad you've got away for the weekend.

Shelley - the pic of your dog is beautiful, I'm so sorry to hear your news, life isn't fair is it.

Sending big cyber hugs to everyone, rude ones at that :grouphug:

It's my son's birthday party a week today so I need to get cracking with the party organising. So much to do, need to write a list...
 If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain

The photos of your trip to the Nec are lovely and it was great to put faces to names, it looks like you all had a lovely day :D

Sugarspun you are soo organised i hope to take some money saving tips from you lol x

Well I heard yesterday that I'm going to be an Auntie again :eek::eek: My SIL is pregnant again :eek::eek:. Yes I know this should be something to celebrate but she is a bit of a nightmare and doesn't look after the one shes got. My nephew is 4 but basically she palms him off constantly on my inlaws so they are bringing him up. Long story but she is not with his father any longer, they split up 3 weeks after the wedding (don't ask!!!!!!) and she is now engaged for the 5th time to her new boyfriend and pregnant even though she is not divorced. She has always said she doesn't want any more kids - she can't cope !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ironic really when you consider she doesn't look after the one shes got!! So I guess my inlaws will be lumbered again. Sorry if i sound a right cow but I honestly can't believe it and I would tell you more but run the risk of boring you all the death.
I've just had a long chat to my MIL about it all so had to vent sorry :o:o:o:o

Well at least I get to make a nappy cake :D

Shelley, I did it all this early because I thought I'd be too busy at the end of the year with a new small one to do any shopping!

Everyone got something handmade last year in addition to their presents, not this year! They might get a picture of the beastie, if they're lucky, in fact I might make gift tags out of them. But what's the point, since everything's unwrapped and in a different country?! My mother's job is to separate it all out into appropriate recipients.

really just skimmed over these pages so sorry if I miss anyone out but hugs to everyone I do miss out...
been sleeping most of the day today...so tired!

goochie - you're sounding really positive, keep that mind set and good luck to you on your job hunting.

shelley3774 - hugs to you - I looked up some doggy bereavement poems to post here for you but they were so sad. I gave my dog extra hugs last night as well.

rusty - you need to rest hun, hope you're alright now

everyone else - you sounded like you had a great time - kind of wish I could of gone and at the same time know I would be too shy. I love rocky road too...
    HOW LUSH IS MEL'S HAIR?

plm - I have done your class on ukscrappers and posted it on there. Thankyou.

    Mellika - Mum's are amazing.

sugarspun - you're doing well - I need to get started on christmas lists I think, so I can finish shopping even earlier this year. Last year I had all pressies done by oct 31st but this year I need to be done earlier if I can.

rusty hope you are feeling better now - hugs to you!

scattymam I have looked at your layout - it is fab:T I remember last time I felt so tired...

I have sold some of my pressie stash to my mum (had some I wasn't sure who to give to). She hasn't got money saving though! I said these are worth £20 but I paid £5 so you can have them for that. She said I usually give £15 so I will give you that! I said the point is for you to give something worth £20 and only pay £5! when she insisted as she didn't want me to lose out I said OK make it £10. So I am chuffed as I have made £10 profit on 2 pressies:j
saving for ds2's summer international scout camp - £200
    £60 deposit paid :j £100 paid:j £40 paid:j
  • evening!

rusty hope your are feeling better - i know how you feel as i hurt my bad getting my niece out the car today. at least its given me an excuse to have a nice bath, a hot water bottle and a massage from my OH.

had a lovely day today - went shopping with my sister and her 7 week old baby, brought some lovely easter ribbon for 99p and a gorgeous pop up easter egg book for £1 from the works. then got home to find OH (who was looking after our two little uns) had done the wash and vacuumed. then took them to the rugby club to watch daddy play and my darling daughter covered herself in mud jumping in puddles, home, takeaway and now relax!!

    :j phew!

Oh forgot to say after throwing my toys out of my pram yesterday about the lack of new clothes in my wardrobe I thought I would indulge in some retail therapy. I refused to pay the prices in Next and River Island so came home with nothing :D:D
However popped into New Look today and for £20 had a fab grey cardie, white vest, a very trendy grey/black/white scarf and a very bright tangerine hoodie - now that is thrifty!!!!! Checked my bill and I hadn't been charged for the scarf:eek::eek::eek::eek:
