I've had an ebay mad day today! Listed 32 items!! All Avon stuff that I couldn't return, got bids on 3 of them already :j Got some Avon jewellery and make up to list and all my "big" things like my old phones, camera etc. They'll all have to wait til Monday though.

I'm quite excited because Radley emailed me before to say they are running a promotion, if you take any old handbag (doesn't have to be Radley, just in good condition) in to one of their shops, they will give you £40 off a handbag worth £120 or more. They donate all the old bags to the british heart foundation. So my Dad is giving me £40 for my birthday and I am going to put another £45 towards this bag, it's quite plain really but I just want something I can use everyday...

I know it might seem really extravagant and it probably is really but I love Radley stuff. I'm not one for designer stuff but there's something about Radley, I love it! So we're going getting it tomorrow :j I haven't decided what colour, i'll decide when I can see them "in the flesh"

I got a letter off the inland revenue today to say they owe me £265, so I rang them and they are sending me a cheque :j :j They've been overtaxing my OH since November so he's owed about £500. We've never ever had any form of savings but we've been getting lump payments off different people loads lately, so we're planning on going on a holiday later in the year

We've been out for tea tonight with MIL and her husband, was quite nice, even though all she talks about are her cats :rolleyes: :rotfl: She keeps asking us when we're having babies and getting married. She doesn't know we're sort of trying for a baby, only told my mum and best friend. And with regards to getting married, we decided on the way to meet them we'll probably get married early next year.... so we've kind of set a rough date (feb) just one important factor seems to have been overlooked...he hasn't proposed yet :rolleyes: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Anyway I shall be quiet now, I do talk too much don't I?

Talk to much on this thread Hayley??? - i don't think that's actually possible as we managed about 1000 threads in 20 minutes (ok I may have exaggerated a tiny bit there )

I love Radley and that bag's gorgeous - it's my one non thrifty me purchase (other than my craft stash but as I usually make things for other people it don't count ) I also have a couple of Joshua Taylors which are a bit more MSE - a girl can't have too many handbags or paper packs :rotfl::rotfl:.

Hayley..... ur leading me astray, I just drooled over those bags weird thing I went back to the same bag twice!!

Massive good news ladies, can not believe how fast my tutor worked the assisgnment I got back tonight I got 86%, a distinction grade, apart from bursting into tears how stupid!! but so hyper, considering I only had a half wit idea about what I was doing, so by the 2/3rd point, I had lost the will, so just babbled on about BurgerKing, and the lovely management structure, left out the bit that I sued them and took an out of court settlement (with no liability - had to sign a gagging order not to reveal details so I could collect my money). I'm just hyper xx

I'd love to but with my overdraft..........I need a rich man to buy me one..........where are they when you want one..........dont want to wait 2 yrs for my 40th.

Theres always reviews.........(smoke coming out of ears)...........I did enough reviews to cover £117 for my sat nav...........I swore never again..........

I want that Radley bag.........its only £155............. xx

Hayley11 - I'm intrigued by the Radley promotion - do you think it's special for you or do you think it will be open to all? My friend loves their bags but can't afford one at the moment so I'd love to help her out by telling her about this but wouldn't like to build up her hopes.....

I wish I was that special but sadly not :rotfl: It's for everybody I rang them up this morning because the email isn't clear whether the old bag has to be a Radley bag or not, she said she'd had 20 people in the shop this morning ask the same thing :rotfl: and it definitely doesn't have to be a radley bag

The offer is....take any bag to an offical Radley shop (there's a list of them on the Radley website) It can't be a stand in say Debenhams. As long as the bag is good condition, so it can be sold on in a BHF shop, they will give you a voucher or something for £40 off any bag worth £120 or more. But you have to buy the bag there and then. You can't go away and come back.

I might go and post about the Radley promotion in the shop but don't drop bit actually, if nobody else has. Even if they are quite expensive, a saving is a saving!! ETA - somebody's already posted it in grabbits
