Have been very industrious today, have managed to tick off more jobs on the aargh 2 weeks from now I'll be surrounded by wrapping paper and helium balloons get your finger out girl!! List!
had to return 3 broken supposedly frost resistant stepping stones to a garden centre today, about a 25 mile round trip, they didn't have replacements so I accepted their voucher and we spent it on cheesecake and caramel shortbread! They have a do craft section but didn't have half the stuff they were advertising. staff are rather unhelpful and just say it's all out!!
Stopped at Frankie and Benny's on way home........it was a bloomin' fortune. £40 for 4 of us!
One course and the drinks which I thought were free refills were not free........won't be back there in a hurry!
I'm just heading out to do my tesco shop so after spending that on lunch boy! do I need bargains.
I did buy some lovely ribbon today, only 69p for 1.5m which I thought was okay......will just sit admiring it!!
I'm listening to radio 2, (it's an old age thing!) Dale Winton has played top 10 from 1969 ,year i was born and is now on 1987, when I was 18 aawh!......OH will come home next week and retune radio to Kerrang! aargh! we have to readjust from our independant lives to being a couple again.......but I can't wait
Enjoy the rest of your w'end Mx0 -

hi all! had a busy day with work today. Mr jamtart6 is STILL nursing a hangover and throwing me pitiful glances! Needless to say, no work is being done on the house today!!:rotfl:
I REALLY need to shake my @ss on this journal jar for M'day. Cannot find any of the links I previously found for the questions to go in the jar - can anyone help?:T
I am doing poorly on the m.day front. Got a chanel thing which was £30 but bought with points so that doesn't really count, and Mamma mia DVD which was £7.99 and a journal jar. Mum is having such a tough time at the moment, I am really feeling that this doesn't touch the sides with trying to cheer her up, but I am at a loss for what to do. Any suggestions? Could go down the traditional flowers route but just seems SO unoriginal

Right, read a few blogs, can't remember whose is which now apart from the obvious ones (mse nicks). I think I'll be asking later...:rotfl:
mhagster - industrious, indeed. Well done you!!! :T And enjoy the lovely weather. Hoping for more sunshine tomorrow, having a day off and so after my app.in the morning I shall get out again. :-) xxx
jammy - I know that there were quite a few links but it was a while back. But I am sure someone who posted them (sorry I cannot remember who it was) will help you.
For your mummy, how about a little hamper with relaxing and soothing stuff - bubble bath, bombs, scented candles and a small bottle of bubbly so she can have a lovely bubbly drink whilst in the lovely bubbly bath? Or take her out for the day - do something together like e.g. something you did together when you were small...
And don't discount the flowers, they are always lovely to give and to receive. If I think of anything else, I'll let you know.
rainmac - well done!!! I am still a little bit scared of ebay. But well done you!!! Hope it all sells and you make loads of money. Remember to treat yourself. :-)

Hello everyone its very busy on here
:D:D Been working all day and lots to catch up on!!
We have decided to have Abbie our dog put to sleep at home so we think it may be tomorrow. We would rather not prolong things because it is so much harder to deal with. I finished work at 2 and went straight to my Dad's and spent some quality time alone in the garden with her. My mum also asked if I would take her up my Dad's to say goodbye too (Mum and Dad divorced 3 years ago and she misses Abbie terribly) fortunately Dad was not home !!!! I haven't stopped crying this afternoon but I am starting to feel better knowing she will be out of pain.
Sorry I can't reply to everyone i am soooooo tired from work so will catch up soonLittle Miss Chatterbox

Hello everyone, hope you've had a lovely Sunday! The weather has been sunny with us, so spent lots of time out in the garden! DS managed to fall flat on his face, he now has a massive bump on his forehead, why is it boys have no fear?!
I also went shopping and picked up some lovely scrapbook sets and card toppers, can't wait to have a little play when DS goes to bed tonight!
Shelley Hope you are ok, sending you lots of hugs.
Aurora I also wanted to send you hugs, I know how difficult it can be from personal experience.
Well I'm been very naughty this evening and having a take-away, I'm not sure my weight watchers leader will approve when I get on the scales 2morrowI've lost 2stone and I've got 8lb to go to get to my goal weight:j
PLM Gosh Scattys page is stunning!:xmassmile Looking forward to December:xmassmile0 -
Thanks girls for your lovely messages :A:A:A:A
I spoke to Dad earlier and he has said that its all too sudden for him and he doesn't want it done tomorrow. Hes working all week and doesn't want her put to sleep until next week. He has shocked me tbh as my Dad is quite hard with his emotions when it comes to animals so it took me back a bit. He wants to go the vets tomorrow to confirm everything so i guess I will have to go through this turmoil a little longer
Aurora - I hope you are feeling ok
Hels well done on your weight loss 2 stone is fantastic. I'm trying my hardest but its just not shifting
Rainmac - what a busy ebayer you are :T
On a more crafty note I had 2 orders for nappy cakes this weekend but just realised that I haven't got any nappies left:o:o so I will have to delay delivery for a day

evenin!
PLM - isnt it lovely when they feed the ducks! we took our daughter when she was old enough to throw the bread herself. there was a sign saying dont feed the geese but we thought that was because it attracted rats so did it anyway. it started fine however the geese were far too aggressive and started coming closer and closer. at this point my daughter got scared and jumped into my arms and we ended up running around the park screaming for my OH to help us. he kept shouting at us and laughing at the same time as we still had the bread in my daughters hand o the geese kept following us! i can laugh about it now but found it really traumatic at the time. now we use bird pellets as Amelie can throw them further. think the notice was warning us about violent geese.
spent a lovely day with family today - took little ones swimming then walked around cannon hill park, back home for some gardening whilst amelie played in sand and ben slept, round to MIL for more gardening and dinner then round to my nans for tea!
now i really should be making two mothers day cards to my mom and MIL from my daughter!have fun all!
