Shelley I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Dogs are always like a best friend so I know how heartbroken you must feel. Like all losses it can only heal with time so allow yourself to cry and reminisce. Your doggy will be in a happier place instead of pain xx

I know its a silly comparison but my hamster went bald and when my mum took it to the vets it had leukemia. I had this hamster for 5 years (which is a long time for a hamster) and she would tickle my neck and sit on me for hours. I felt so guilty to make a choice to send her to a better place. I wanted her to talk and tell me.. for me to know she was in pain so I had some justification. I know now that it was the best thing to do but it was so hard. I hope you will be strong for your dog and enjoy your end.. giving her an end with dignity xx
