Thanks Rusty
I do read all the posts every day, normally in the evening, but by the time I've read them all I've forgotten what I was going to say.
I do love this site though as I feel that I know you all so well, really helps as I am stuck at home at the mo, have been since December after coming out of hospital. Can't do a lot and get a bit down, but you all keep me sane! (and make me laugh)
Finally getting to grips with making cards and feel a lot more confident. This week I have been making a square around card(???)/room card. I am really pleased with it.
Next lesson is to learn how to put photographs on - I know there is an idiots guide posted on here for photobucket, but I need to master the camera first lol. First step I have created a photobucket account, so one small step at a time ..........
Now if I could only get to grips with the blasted sock monkey which has been sitting on the side for the last week! hehe
:rotfl:
Without this thread I think I would have cracked up long ago ... although with forgetting my age I think I already have cracked up :rotfl: wishing you a speedy recovery ... although not too speedy cause you have only just got here
I did a guide to putting photos on her from photobucket, I can repost the link to it if it helps you?
Jamtart I am living proof that it is all downhill when you hit 25 :rotfl:Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -
Ok Jammy you asked for more posts
When I was 17 then 25 was old.
When I was 25 I was about to get married so was definately not old - that would be when I was 30 at least!
At 30 I had my Son, and was regarded as an elderly mother...
Life began at 40 when I had my first tattoo.
This year I will be 50 and I am so unlike what you would expect. 2 half sleeves of tattoos, full backpiece and just starting on my upper leg. I also have had dreadlocks for the last year and a half.
I don't really care what other people think anymore about the way I look, infact it comes in handy when people are trying to stop you in the street for surveys etc - as they always look the other way hehe.
Life is for living - no matter how old you are! Here I stand, foot in hand
staring at the wall
I'm not quite right at all0 -
Thanks Rusty I have bookmarked it. Its the camera I have to get to grips with my OH says that I am mentally challenged with any bits of equipment like cameras! lolHere I stand, foot in hand

This reminded me of something else. A very good friend of my mum started counting her age backwards when she was 39. So when she turned 40, she said she was 38, 41-37, 42-36, etc. It got to a point where she actually didn't know how old she was. It was so funny, she'd actually lost track of her own age...
jamtart6 - I have to say maybe the absence of a Sid & Cass is what I don't like about this series.... I don't know. I did love them so much!!!GC March Wk1 £28.72/£30 Wk2 £28.4/£29

B**GER I OMG just got made redundant. I have been worrying about this for a few months and now it is a reality. Not sure what we are going to do as I am the main breadwinner. For now, me and OH having a bottle of wine and we're going away for the weekend, I guess the job search starts on Monday.
Sorry to rant.0 -

Oh no, really sorry Goochie. If you think you may struggle finding another job, don't forget to go to the job centre ASAP and claim JSA until you are back in another job.
Have a lovely weekend and try not to worry:heart: Think happy & you'll be happy
