Evening all!
OH didn't get the job so will now be looking at booking a holiday :j. We also have loads of work to do on the house so will be getting on with that as well.
Does anyone know where I can find a list of car boot sales? I really need to clear the house and can't be faffed with eBay and treks to the post office.
Fantastic work rusty I knew those fingers would be getting itchy. Am off for a bath and an early night as I didn't hardly sleep last night. My boss was being overfriendly today I slumped down in my seat and gave her my best paddington stare :rotfl:.Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for their lovely wishes for those of us attending the NEC meet up tomorrow.
We will report back hopefully with piccies!! I will let you know what bargains we got, all the gossip from the other 5 (of course!!) and I promise to be thrifty (packed lunches all round!!) and I am also planning on being gifty!!0 -
After a really rubbish nights sleep I went into work and saw my boss and ended up crying again!! Still never mind I told her I had been really upset and she said she had too (but she didn't look like she'd not slept or had been crying for 2 hours!!!). She still said I wasn't entitled to the day off with the kids but said I could go home after the morning but I said I was in mow and my parents had travelled up so I made sure I did the whole day!
She did say she appreciated all my hard work and thought I was doing a good job but I don't feel I can ever ask for carers leave with her in the future which is not good really!!
My family are my priority and I definitely only nwork to live and I do not live to work and my little people need me sometimes and that's hard!!
Still not in til Monday now and got tomorrow to look forward to tho' I am soooo tired I am worried I'll sleep past birmingham and end up in Scotland!!!0 -

wishing you all much fun, spend loads of money......wisely of course!
Had to go back to Morrison's this afternoon to get money back, i was overcharged by 89p on saturday........ended up spending £20+! No wonder they've announced their profits today!0 -
Furrypig, what an awful time you seem to be having. I don't know what to say other than send you hugs ... still least you have tomorrow to look forward to
To all the lovely ladies who are going tomorrow, hope you have a fantastic time. xxxRaising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -
hi! my names hayley and im a lurker! ive been lurking since before xmas and thought i need help - so ive finally posted!
im trying to money neutral - have £30 in Valued opinions and did a boots 75% off order. i have most presents sorted and even have my easter bags made up ready for my easter party. Ive been making a scrapbook for my parents anniversary and trying to make cards but im not quite brave enough to post these yet because they are nowhere near the quality of those produced by you talented ladies!
i wondered whether i could ask for some help. my aunt passed away from cancer last year and it hit my mom really hard. she asked my aunt to write her a diary in her last few months but she got worse very quickly and only managed a few pages.my mom has very few keepsakes or photos of her and regrets this now so i am trying to make memory keepsakes for her of her family. One person here posted about a "Dear Mum" keepsake.I want to make my mom a personalised one with photos in a nice notebook but im struggling for titles. So far ive got:
What i was like as a little girl
My family
me at school
funny stories when i was a young girl
me as a teenager
my hobbies
the men in my life
my holidays
my favourite things
my birth stories
what annoys me
my strengths / weaknesses
Any more ideas pretty please!
Sorry for such a long post!
