Lil_me (and any other caravan people) - do you have fixed beds or the seats that convert. We're looking at a bailey ranger that has an end bathroom. We wanted the end bedroom until we realised the end bathroom would be ideal for the puppy dog!!! My children are quite tall ... will the side beds be ok for them? Any advice welcome. Thankyou xx
It depends on the model (year)of Bailey really. We have one and adults can sleep in the side beds comfortably (I have some room at my feet I'm 5'). We are getting an adria hopefully with fixed bunks. We need 3 singles and a double as DD sleeping in with us is a nightmare! If I can help any more Mudbath let me know my OH is a occupational traveller so I can ask him there's not much he doesn't know (or so he keeps telling me!!)

rosepink - hugs, hope you get the charges sorted. And I have feet like that too, scaly rat feet I get called!

Welcome to doozergirl, casleigh, ladymay, julliff, jha, fairygoodfairy, intergalactic floozie, leiela and anyone else I have missed

Chunters - hope you feel better soon

GnB - Hope your DD is feeling better soon and that the op gets rescheduled for soon

Pigpen - hope the sickness didnt amount to anything. Cant believe the FC's attitude. I think I still have a white cot in the attic and a mamas pram !!! pushchair. Would have to check but I think still serviceable if you have a way of collecting as I know its a long way.

kazwookie - I agree with you about the kids, by all means know about it at that age but you dare 'do' and see what you get !!!

sarahshattered - have you seen the lovefoodnotwaste site. Its quite good although there arent too many recipes on there which I sometimes find better as less to get confused over

serena - glad DD is feeling a bit better

toots - thanks for the emails, had a fair few laughs

valli - good luck vibes for sorting the hotspot

Nice to see you Oddjob. Hope the leg improves (and the sleep too)

Mudbath - We bought an Eldiss Avante which has fixed bunks which go across the full length of the back of the van (at least 6' long). Chose the space for each according to the time spent in each ie Least time in bathroom so small area, next sleeping, then most in the living space. When we walked in the door of ours it just seemed right for us, everything else was, I like this but not that etc but couldnt find anything we didnt like with the avante. Thanks for the link Valli... it makes me realise what a well-balanced & friendly lot we are on here :D . A lot of the other threads seem to have a lot of badly-informed people making sweeping statements who are completely unable to accept that a. someone else might have a different opinion or b. they might actually be wrong occasionally...

Having said that, clearly I'm ALWAYS right ;)

Off to do the ironing now... reading the slanging match has delayed me :o
