Back indoors.
It is too cold in the green house to plant the seeds, so I have sorted everything out, likes pots and soil etc ready for slightly warmer weather.
Just found to add to the list 4 packets of herbs and 2 packets of sweet peas
Going to make pizza for lunch.

Hi, not caught up yet on the thread but a big :hello: to everyone.
We're not doing much today. DD1 is poorly. She's been sick a couple of times and is currently asleep on the sofa. Not sure if its because of the curry last night. Me and her shared a prawn dhansak which was really nice at the time but my stomach felt a bit off last night too.
So just sat her with her on the sofa with DD2 in bed and DH out at the football. So all quiet for now.
Think I'll have a quick scan of the thread. See you in a bit.0 -
so! made a visit to homebase ... never a good idea
bought lots of floortiles for the back bedroom and some glue for dd's room wallpaper border - we've got it years but it never made its way up there
so OH's did that - i did the carpet and voila - looks much nicer
house is nice clean and tidy ... again
kids are in and out (visiting neighbours and playing outside)
and oh said after all this hard work he'll take us out for dinner - hopefully soon because i am starving
i hope everyone is having a nice relaxed sunday :kisses3:0 -
3 woollen blankets blowing on the line - actually it sounds like they're trying to rip the line down but hey ho. :rotfl: Quilt is in ATM, since this is right under the bottom sheet its gets washed at a higher temperature and extra smelly stuff on it
Just taking 5 mins break while I eat some toast - I seem to have lived on Pringles, peanut butter on toast, curry & rice and red bull this weekend  SOooo not going to do my weight/cholesterol/blood pressure any goodRight, back to it...
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Good afternoon all, hope you are all well, have only skimmed the thread but I did notice that (((((hugs))))) are needed for LL and Diva,
Wanted to ask Pigpen if the bear factory is worth it(did the kids enjoy/is the bear better quality etc, and how much does each bear cost on average), been thinking of taking DD but wasn't sure if it was worth it considering the black bagS full of cuddlies she doesn't bother with.
(((((hugs)))))for any one else, have done no flying this weekend but OH has done ALL the washing and drying, cooked a lovely chicken dinner and done all the dishes, Iknow have a HUGE pile of ironing that needs doing!!!!
Right DD gone with DSd so I am having the telly back, will watch location............and do some of the ironing, will be keeping up every so often(ad's....)0 -
Hello!!
Busy day so far have come on here for a rest!!
So far today I have
Hoovered (sometimes wish I didn't have a dyson 'cos I thought my carpet wasn't too bad until I saw how much c**p was in the hoover after I had finished!!! Only did the living/dining room as well. EEEEK!)
Dusted downstairs as well
Been to Aldi and shopped, put away the shopping
Rearranged 2 vases of flowers
made the bed
Right I am now off to hoover the car- (realised how much it needed it when I cleaned it out the other day), I might even wash it as well!
Then I shall sort out my filing/paperwork, I have been putting that off for ages! But as have a student atm I don't actually need to do any planning for tomorrow as she's teaching all day! So I have no excuse for not getting it sorted out!! (Plus as I have told you lot I'll do it it gives me a bit of an incentive to actually do it! So you can nag me if you like)
I'll be back!Go hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last0 -

Afternoon everyone.
Have finally found out where mum was living in 1970. Had the brainwave last night to look at the electoral register for that year. Luckily all the countys records are kept at a musuem about 20 minutes walk from me. Have spent an interesting day in there. Was looking for my grandparents wedding certificate but have not found it yet. Nearly went off track as I was looking at other stuff like what occupations there were between 1800-1901 The men were mainly soldiers or miners.
So no flying done yet. I plan to put lunch on a vacumn upstairs while that is cooking.
egon, The plastering was not too bad to do but it was just a small area and the mixing was trial and error. Another motorbike lover here. My ex husband had a motorbike when I met him and we went all over. An AJS I think it was then he had others after that. When I first became single again I had a couple of motorbikes.
lil_me Ohh Westgate Road. That brings back memories. We used to go on a Saturday and all the bikers used to race up and down.
MOF77 Aww that was a lovely thing to do for your mum and sounds like your gran was pleased you were there.
nicki I think I should join this no spend/no waste thing. Im getting out of hand again.0 -
