She said they are like modern day highway robbers - they held her up and took her car to ransom. She produced photos to show the court that the signage was inadequate and she won!
It was Triker... but don't encourage her to go to court... she's got a list of people she'll be taking thereMight be worth a threatening letter though...
Toots... it's not fair... I don't have any children or children's rooms to deal with so I can't get a star for today!!! I've done lots anyway and my house is clean and sparkly... even the study which I'd put off for ages :A
And I WANT a pink twinkly star ... mudbath's got one  , and if mudbath's got one then I want one... so what do I have to do to get one
Off to find my list...0 -
I am such a bad mother.
DD popped round this evening and for some really obscure and unknown reason I ended up bawling my eyes out on her shoulder. I winged about life, the universe and everything.
She was brilliant. She just hugged me back and said soothing words.
I fell awful now.
Mothers are supposed to be the Rock to which everything clings. Not the weeping, whining minnies that sap everyone else's strength.
Gawd I'm off to bed simply to get away from it all...

*gets BIG wooden spoon out* I've got a pink star Greenbee
No kids rooms here though
Soappie - please don't beat yourself up about it, you're not a bad mother at all. Everyone needs someone to vent to sometimes, and I'm sure your daughter would be pleased to be able to help you. greenbee I just got a bill for mine too, up to end of January I am still £21 in credit with the DD cancelled, so shouldn't be too much left to cough up for when it switches even with the DD cancelled. Thanks for all your advice, I got a letter today confirming it changes in March so that should be ok now!
pigpen, wow, brave!!! I have never had to cope with build a bear thankfullyalways looks all awwwws and tantrums when I go past. As for the files, I have them all saved on the NAS drive once I finish assignments which means I can work on them from any PC/Laptop in the house and I can transfer it to one to take with me if needed. I've been using OpenOffice on the PCs without Office, have to save everything as .doc not .docx to upload to the tutor anyway. NAS drives are really handy for houses/places where you need access on several PCs/laptops. Handy for backup too. I want a different squeaker.....
soappie :rotfl: what a little monkey, only laughing because my pooch would do the same.....mouth cuts on dogs always bleed loads. Hope you managed to get everything sorted before bed time. Big hugs too, you must have needed that, what a lovely DD you have too, I am sure you have been their ROCK when needed, time to get something back for all the effort you put in and damp shoulders you've had.
toots is this one too bigto be a unisex star ?
Mudbath don't worry I got bored of my little meter soon enough
Had a right fight on with the laptop, thought it was going to have to go back as it wouldn't connect to the internet, stupid thing! Anyway tech support said it needed to go back on Monday so I wiped a lot of drivers off, probably more than I should have, reinstalled newest versions and ping it worked!!! Well ok not so much ping but fight on for flipping ages, I have NEVER had problems getting any computer connected! So now it's just putting everything else on it I need...forget how many programmes etc I use.
Anyway, I've not done loads today housework wise with sorting other stuff. I have had some help from the boys in reorganising DVD/game storage, sorting out the right ones into the right boxes etc they did try to clean the TV cabinet but that will of course need redoing. I've kept the kitchen tidy and wiped over after dinnerthat's 4 days in a row it's stayed ok!!! The DW has been on, emptied and started to refill. Washer load x 2. Kids bedrooms quick swish over, laundry removed, bag of junk flung, sheets were changed yesterday. So toots can I perlease can I have a kids rooms star
Well I think I need to do the weekend list again, my main mission this weekend will be laundry catch up (cleaning and putting away) including sock sortwhich I have neglected again knowing how much I will regret that already. My car boot isn't too bad actually :rotfl: it's the rest of it which is the problem....:o I'm considering doing another hours study because I don't actually feel tired, but then I am thinking will it sink in......OpenOffice installing now, takes a while doesn't it......Oh that was the other thing I've managed to do successfully, get the TMA to upload online, no more driving to tutor houses night before an assignments due in (especially as one lives 150 miles away though it'd be a good idea to master it!)
One day I might be more organised...........

Hi all, sorry its so late, didnt get back from the hospital till 7pm had to make tea then had a bath by the time I got out the internet had gone haywire, just managed to fix it
Bradie my 2 year old is extremeley allergic to eggs and off the scale for peanuts I am so upset thats all my 3 boys now.
He has to have an epi-pen as he could go into shock just by being near someone who has eaten peanuts (that is so scarey) think Ill just hibernate at least he will be safe then.
Sorry I know a lot on here have far worse things to worry about but its just one thing after another at the moment.
I will finish the boys room tomorrow along with the weekend list.Feeding 6 Adults 1 Teen a 8 year old with hollow legs and a very fussy 5 year old. Also 3 cats and 3 fishies
