  • I just knew there would be trouble with these bl**dy stars!!!!!:rotfl: :rotfl:
IMHO and no offence meant here carol honey - but you really shouldnt have got one just because you havent any children!!! I didnt want to be nasty and not give it to you and NO she is not bribing me !!!!
if you havent got a child or a child's room then you should be doing the list for a spare room - if you havent got a spare room then you should do all the things on the list that you havent alrready done elswhere - I think thats fair dont you ladies and oddjob? some people HAVE to do all 5 lists - they have no option.

So greenbee - off you pop and do what you can to your spare room for your last star and carol will check what was on the list for today and make sure she has done it wont you honey!:A

I know sexy and froddy already take the childrens rooms as spare rooms/extra jobs for main bedroom and so do I.
what do you think our illustrious leader????

lil_me thanks for the star - its brilliant - maybe a little too big but as its for the young ones there wont be that many of them!

mummyyof5 thats really bad news honey - I am so sorry for the wee man and you - it must be quite hard to watch for that when you are out anywhere - espec the cinema!!! what a nightmare.

Froddy, don't know if you have this site, you probably do. I spotted it during a mooch about and remembered it had some good IEP suggestions http://www.specialed.us/issues-IE!!!!ues/writingiep/writingindex.htm it's more the wording that helped me when I was redoing DS1s at his last school, I knew what I wanted improvements in http://www.specialed.us/autism/05/g_o.htm was very useful. DS2s new school IEPs are wonderful, mainstream school, they are lovely :) I like IEPs, well good ones, DSs old school was so useless at them I got a lot of practise in redoing them!

mummyyof5 honey we all have our own worries which effect us all in different ways, never think yours are small, they effect you just as much however small they seem then share and hopefully gain support from the wonderful people here x. I don't have any with extreme allergies thankfully, so no idea what it's like, however I can only imagine how worrying it must be.
One day I might be more organised...........

I took out loads of the list.. I don't iron, we don't have a porch or a car, the uniforms are all done.. I am keen! The windows, pets and various other things are done already or don't need doing.

I have crazy kittens running all over my house!! ARGH!! lol Hazel has just eaten a slug!! She is GROSS!!!

    Question.. re the cleaner..

Should I give her a huge long list of stuff I want doing or just say start and the front and work your way round and give me a bill when you've done?

I want the oven and hob doing.. and the kitchen floor.. but other than that.. meh!

  • I would get her to do the things that you dont have time to do or hate doing pigpen at least until you get things under control again and then she could do a S&S all over

Pigpen - I would suggest a list if there are things you particularly want her to do, then leave the rest to her imagination. Cooker/hob, eeeee you're shocking dishing out those jobs!! Oh and leave her instructions of what to clean what with if she doesn't know what you prefer to use and where. More so thinking stone/wood areas.

  • Evening All

Just back from my friend's house, working on my application form... I'll be beavering away at it again tomorrow.

Toots :A you are a sweetie. Thanks hun.

Soappie (((hugs))) hun, don't think you're a bad mum. I wish my mother would show me she has a vulnerable side every once in a while... it would let me know she's human. I'm sure you are your daughter's rock irrespective of you having a down moment. And thanks for what you said earlier... you're right. What about me feeling trapped!!! I forget sometimes that I shouldn't try to be so accommodating. Thank you again, and, no, you didn't sound like a grumpy old woman at all. :)

    Frodders - thanks :)

Dusty :( it's so very true. It's not what I imagined when they all sat round laughing saying "I'll give em 6 months" .... well, it's been 17 years now, but I don't want to do it anymore.

I'm sat downstairs listening to him snoring the place down upstairs, he hasn't put his sleep apnoea mask on. Why should he rely on me to tell him? He knows he needs it, Toots wouldn't forget hers!!! Reason No.23... he doesn't remember his apnoea mask.

    *gives herself a big shake*

Anyway, tomorrow I'm going to crack the whip and make the family do a load of work in the house. I liked having my row of hearts last week, so I'd quite like a row of stars this week too....

 I must remember to fill the kettle... just in case!!

Ok anyone who's still up, night night. Sleep tight. See you in the morning light.

no I'm very good.. it is a new cooker so it isn't gross.. and if she keeps on top of it, it won't ever get gross.. see.. logic.. and how kind am I being?

Anyway.. hob, oven (before it is minging) S&S kitchen.. sweep and mop floors.. and bathroom I want bogs, basins, baths and floor slopping over.. the state of that should keep her occupied for a month let alone 2-3 hours!.. is that unreasonable?

well I have stardrops.. and bleach.. and a flash spray.. which is mine.. oh and a dribble of washing up liquid (I use it on the windows!) so cleaning products is limited.

    nighty night SS.. XxX

  • Oh I remember trying to decide what to do about a cleaner... going round cleaning the whole house before she came.... Daft really!
She would ask me for all kinds of obscure products... I'd just give her the stardrops!!! And if she's confused show her the stardrops thread!!! :)
