Passion8 you must have hawk eyes! Thanks for spotting all these bits, I saw the nc shower stuff reduced in a weeny store too but only one there with no other nc products! I'll look out for the other things, thanks.:T
    :o :rotfl: I didn't even know what a SEL was a year ago :D

This isn't a message for the experienced Bootsers btw ;) but don't be fooled by some of the 342 offers. Yesterday there was only 2 x NC shower gels left on the shelf and the (usually) obvious thing to do is to find a third item. But as the 2 x shower gels were 48p each and the next cheapest item was a 97p face mask, it was cheaper to just buy the shower gels. Hope that makes sense? ;)

Popkins - those Garden Journals seem handier than the brag books. Good find :D which I'll hopefully find myself later

  • Once again, thank you all sooooo much for your lovely PMs and messages. But having slept on it (and I did have a good sleep for once), and had a gorgeous bath with my Sumptuous Bath Soak, and liberally applied my P & P Serum - I just want to put it all behind me. Stick it in The Box, and forget about it. Finished. Gone. Goodbye nasty yesterday.

And hallo nice today! :j DH has suggested we go out for lunch, and having flicked through my plethora of vouchers, it's Prezzos who will be receiving our (half price) custom. And then I can look at my Perkies and admire them, and work out yet more interesting combinations! :lovethoug

Then I have Saturday to look forward to. A pay-what-you-think lunch at the Little Bay, followed by a couple of hours Bootsing in the West End, and then Thriller!

And as Sedley Place has the £5 discount vouchers when you spend £25, I shall aim for a Grand Finale with the Wrinklies/Hairies/Perkies/£5 off spend/£5 P & P.

Can it be done? Is there a fool proof method? Where's my calculator!!!!

Always look on the bright si-ide of life. Dee dum. Dee dum, deedum, dee dum .........!

I spotted the NC apple shower gel for 49p but thought it a better deal to get the flannels 342 at 61p each!

I got the purple feet minis before crimbo at the big Oxford street store for £1.46 as there was no SEL or anything to scan, the supervisor agreed to scan one of the items in the bag and sell it to me for that!:j. I did post at the time so don't know if anyone else on here managed to do the same, as there were 2 left at the time!

I am also trying to stick to the 'buy what I need' but failing miserably. You might not need it now but who knows you might need it later!!!!!:rotfl:

I bought a few of the sets last summer for about £2 each. You got a bargain at £1.46:D I love the smell of the creams. They smell nice enough to eat:rotfl:
No, no, I don't need anymore shampoo. I'm definetly sticking to my 'only buy what I need' moto;)

Well done SS - not one more thought to that nasty SA - she doesn't deserve to be on your radar!!

You are an inspiration and I look forward to hearing about your Bootsing exploits over the weekend!

Apologies now for a little Boots grumble - advice welcome!

Following on from my Bootsing yesterday I have noticed on my receipt that I didn't get the points I was expecting!

Basically my first transaction I wanted to use the No7 250 points (from GWP) & also 200 points ACM on £25 spend so I deliberately spent over the £25 - BEFORE using wrinklies/hairies & No7 etc. so then I should have received 450 points right? well on my receipt it only shows the No7 250 points & my total points on the receipt are 290 points. She did take the 200 ACM voucher though!!

Have phoned CS & they say that I need to go back into the store to query it. Not sure I can face it to be honest but its bugging me simply because I wanted the points & had I known it wasn't going to go through I would have split my spend into separate transactions to get more of the perkies!! Anyway has this happened to anyone else & what did you do? Obviously I have no proof that I handed over the 200 ACM voucher & my receipt shows that my actual spend was £13.90.
