I think someone somewhere is conspiring to stop me going to Boots. I have to wait in again today for drain man as toilet is blocked for 2nd time this week .
Suppose it will give me time to compile a list of best buys to get. Has anyone seen any Olay GWPs anywhere in Birmingham or surrounding?
If they do not sort my toilet problem they are gonna put me in for an early move - and I will put near a BIG Boots on my application form!

I know that in the past I have not been able to use mine on stuff that actually has the clearance sticker on. But stuff that has a SEL of clearance I could use a voucher on. Think as long as the reduced price comes up from scanning the product barcode then you may be ok to. My Boots are being very sneaky and have put clearance stickers on all the reduced items so you can not use the voucher on them.

I got one from the store on the high st when I was up there on a visit a couple of weeks ago:D

The T&Cs are always the same: cannot be used on clearance items or with any other offer. However, if you get a SA who doesn't read the T&Cs and just scans the voucher it will go through the till. When the last lot pinkies were out I got loads of No7 suncreams and glossy locks with clearance stickers on and the vouchers went through without beeps. I haven't tried the new purply yet, so I hope these work on clearance items too!

Apologies now for a little Boots grumble - advice welcome!

Following on from my Bootsing yesterday I have noticed on my receipt that I didn't get the points I was expecting!

Basically my first transaction I wanted to use the No7 250 points (from GWP) & also 200 points ACM on £25 spend so I deliberately spent over the £25 - BEFORE using wrinklies/hairies & No7 etc. so then I should have received 450 points right? well on my receipt it only shows the No7 250 points & my total points on the receipt are 290 points. She did take the 200 ACM voucher though!!

Have phoned CS & they say that I need to go back into the store to query it. Not sure I can face it to be honest but its bugging me simply because I wanted the points & had I known it wasn't going to go through I would have split my spend into separate transactions to get more of the perkies!! Anyway has this happened to anyone else & what did you do? Obviously I have no proof that I handed over the 200 ACM voucher & my receipt shows that my actual spend was £13.90.

Total spend vouchers will scan but if your total goes below the amount you will not get the points. Bizarrely this does not seem to apply to the 500 points wys £10/£5 baby club vouchers. HTH.

Saw a bunch of these recently in Bon Accord. looked liked some pink ones and tons of blue ones upstairs. could be good gift for a child. reduced to about £1.47. they were all sealed up but looked like could hold 4x6'' and 1 photo per page.

NO 17 Silver evening bags with eye shadow, nail polish and mascara £1
Smoky eyes tins £1
Silver clutch bags £1 (about 100 of these!!)
Summer eye palettes £1
Lots of travel stuff reduced , passport holders, sewing kits, travel plugs
Charles Worthington spray for glossy hair £1.22

All this was on the clearance shelves near the opticians. Looks like someones been spring cleaning the stockroom :j

With normal stock i found :-

Patently Obvious mint and lime shower gel 76p
Gillette after shave balm £1.46 - no putting sets
Mens anti fatigue sets no SEL but two of these left
2 Olay purple box GWPs...these aren't there now :rotfl:, i've been looking for these for ages
