Dear Mr B (or if you're off duty now your sidekick Smithers),

Read the lovely Sandra's post with horror!

Please respond as quickly to this as you do when our much loved (but too often shortlived) glitches appear on .com.

You have enough info in that post to work out who she was.

    Do something about it!

Most of the posters on this board choose to spend money in your store - many have defected from Mr T's, S****D**g and more. If this "level" of customer services seems acceptable then we could of course vote with our feet.

Yes I was thinking on the same lines if... MR.B or associate is reading! please do something about it asap.

I can really recommend the No 7 pore refining serum. Its about £11 normally but a lot of Boots' have reduced it. I love it, makes my skin look even and blackheads less noticeable. Loads of people have commented on my (normally awful) skin. :) Obviously even if you have to pay £11, it'll only be £6 with the purplie and it is well worth that imo. :)
  • Just quickly...

Got P&P handcream today, using acm £5.00 off and new £5.00 off no 7 voucher = free no7 handcream

Huggies Newborn Kits now scanning at £1.25!!! not sure if this was a one off!!!

If anyone has any £5.00 wrinklies going spare, please pm me as trying to make up a mothers day treat x2

    Nite. x

Can I just ask which stores these were in please? they look great bargains!!
    Hiya Popkins :)

In the village stores in God's own county ;) but if it helps, I mainly shop in Hull, York, and Beverley, so it's like the surrounding areas of those places. But I really think that these will be in the larger stores and nationwide tomorrow or just after. hth x

(Don't all rush up/down here at once, and cancel that coach trip Angie100 :rotfl: )

coolcait - Latin comes in handy when getting through those swear filters doesn't it? :D but I was amazed to see the same phrase used twice on the same page! Spooky stuff ;)

Spookily enough, I thought the same thing when I saw that you had also posted that phrase! :D

Although I think that yours is probably more grammatically correct - mine has picked up a stray 's' :o

    (Clears throat)

Back on topic, I didn't get to go Bootsing in Glasgow at the weekend, because DS wasn't well. I asked my sister to check out the skincare aisles' signs on my behalf, but the experiment wasn't terribly successful - she was sidetracked by the fact that 'the posh stuff' (technical term  ) has its own special label (premium skincare?).

You can't get the [STRIKE]staff[/STRIKE] family these days

She did take advantage of the Oasis BOGOF (now ended?) and thoroughly recommends the Peach & Passion Fruit flavour - which she hasn't found anywhere else...

Having tasted the GOF part of the BOGOF, I'm inclined to agree with her ;)

Well said Sue :T :T :T couldn't have said it better myself.

Yes! lets all hope Mr B is reading this, I learn something new from this board everyday, not just how best to spend my pinkies & purkies and vast amounts of money in Boots, because lets not forget we HAVE to spend money to earn the incentive vouchers in the first place, but also how kind and thoughtfull some people can be, be it a gift of a voucher, a hug, a good luck wish, a shopping list all neatley printed with the sums worked out, a quick
:hello: or a thank you for pointing out how we can spend even MORE money in Boots pheew! rant over..... Well almost......

Anyway I'm sure lots on here will agree that we are very nice, polite shoppers and expect to be greeted the same by SA's, Supervisors & Managers alike, I have taken to thanking all SA's personally for splitting my shopping into different lots and waiting while I just grab something to make my purchase upto £5 and i'm pleased to say they have been really polite to me.

So I shall be sticking to my local stores and NOT going to Bluewater as planned on Friday, cos i'm so tempted to hunt this girl down on behalf of SS & her DH & DD & Dee & BV Friend oh and lets not foget SS's DGC and give her
a piece of my mind and a thick ear, i'm so  that you were made to feel this way Sandra have a hug from me.

Bluewater can s**ck there £5 WYS £25 pound as I for one won't be spending the £2 for the Dartford toll to cross the water and be abused .

Lakeside here I come :rotfl: :rotfl: (at about 1.30pm) so hope to bump into you SS that would really make my day.:j :j :j
  • SS sooo good 2 c u back! :j Have been trying to catch up since w/end but it's proving difficult, lol! :o I'm, as many of us here, saddened about ur latest experience in B's... it doesn't take much 2b nice and polite... but many staff act as if the money was coming out of their pockets... n e way hope u keep well SS... I just haven't the energy to go through everything again with CS, and even though there were other SAs there as witnesses, I haven't got the oomph in me to go through it all. In any event, if I sent an email, they'd ask me to "telephone us at the following number to discuss your query".

No, I'll just wait till I get a survey thingy to fill in, and I shall add my praise for the No 7 lady, who was great. The only satisfaction I have is that the staff will talk about the Lady Of The Meadow to each other, and hopefully, she will get piles or something, as a punishment.

And then she'll wish that there was a £2 voucher for haemerroid cream, won't she?

    .

    xx

Hopefully she will get more than piles. My sig is What goes around comes around, and its the matra I live my life by.

I really felt for you Sandra, especially as the SA in my local, know of my history and recent problems, and asked me for an update on results every time I went in.

I hope she is lying awake now, feeling guilty. Thankfully, there many lovely people around, but the bad ones can really hurt. The bad ones are just dirt under our feet. Beating BC makes you strong, and staying alive makes you stronger still. :T :T :T
