SS this is an absolute disgrace how you have been treated. You haven't given so much helpful advice to me and so many others on this site. I myself have posted on here how rude I find some of the Boots staff have been to me but what you suffered is beyond comprehension. While I accept not all staff can be tarred with the one brush I believe there is quite a high percentage of rude staff now throughout that organisation when we as customers approach them with tokens issued by them. I fully understand your reluctance about relaying everything that has been said to you today. However I would strongly recommend that you take time compose yourself and do contact customer services in whatever format you feel most comfotable with, if by email you have already written your story here and most of it could be copied to them. If you take this stand I believe it will become a major issue for them and I would threaten taking your case even to the papers to see what their reaction is. I work in customer services and I would be absolutly destroyed if I had ever took this approach to any customer under any circumstances. SS girl stand up for your rights and do not take this crap from anyone in any walk of life. God bless you and good luck in whatever decision you take.

Yes, I think the phrase "Pinkie and Perkie" sounds great, and as it's purple, then I agree, a great name would be Perkies or Purkies!

Cheered up now, cos I've just got a Zizzi voucher - £1 for a meal! See, doesn't take much to make me happy.

    xx

Sorry to snip!! Perkies/Purkies works very well indeed!! Just wanted to add that I too received a Zizzi voucher - £1 for a meal (when you buy 1 FP meal) and found it very exciting!! Oh the wild life I lead these days... whirling & whirling!!
    :j

SS - I have to confess that when I went out bootsing today I thought of you & wondered in the nicest possible way how I could become your stalker!! (TRULY I'm not actually a stalker!!) :o:o:o
but its just that I have everything planned out at home & written in my Bootsing 'bible' (for want of a better name... suggestions?) of what I want to get & the best price to get it & accumulating the most amount of points, but then when I find myself in the temple that is Boots my braincells desert me & I can't deduct 1-1 and end up in total confusion!!!

Help! I need a Bootsing chaperone!! LOL!! :p :rotfl:
  • Popkin hope you are ok?

  • Thank you all so much for your lovely messages. I did tell my DH, and he said "For God's sake don't tell DD, she'll go up there, have a row, probably get arrested", which is true!

I just haven't the energy to go through everything again with CS, and even though there were other SAs there as witnesses, I haven't got the oomph in me to go through it all. In any event, if I sent an email, they'd ask me to "telephone us at the following number to discuss your query".

No, I'll just wait till I get a survey thingy to fill in, and I shall add my praise for the No 7 lady, who was great. The only satisfaction I have is that the staff will talk about the Lady Of The Meadow to each other, and hopefully, she will get piles or something, as a punishment.

And then she'll wish that there was a £2 voucher for haemerroid cream, won't she?

I posted, and then read backwards, and it seems that Angel 69 had a similar experience. Someone asked why some SAs act the way they do when we produce vouchers. You know what I think? Jealousy. They see us working out our deals, using mathmatical formulae that would qualify us for the Krypton Factor, and they don't like it.

I also said to Mrs Piles "What is the point in being giving an Advantage Card and vouchers, from The Advantage Card Machine if one is not to take advantage of the opportunities presented?" and that didn't get a reply either.

Curlylocks, that was a wonderful generous, and kind-hearted thing to do my darling, and you will be blessed and never get piles!

:rotfl::rotfl:And now your making me laugh again!!!I like the perkies , makes me think of how my b***s once were, now theyre more like droopies:rotfl::rotfl:. Do R&M or No7 do any bust firming cream at all:o?
You laugh because I'm different......I laugh cause I just farted!

She also did not want to take the ACM voucher as she said you can only use it in stores with ACM machines. Anyway I got another Body Serum at £7.25 for my sis but I think she is wrong about the ACM thing. She said she would get in trouble for taking the vouchers so if I want to use a pinky and P & P voucher I will go elsewhere. She did then give me a Pinky and a Skin/Hair voucher. I also received 2 T & G vouchers in the post from a kind person on there. I got my son his own AC card today which I am going to put points on for him to use for lunches.

I was refused use of an ACM voucher in a non-ACM store. I queried with CS who confirmed the vouchers are for use in all stores regardless of whether it has an ACM or not.

can any one recomend a product for me as am goin bootings tomorrow i have quite a uneven skin tone on my cheeck and blackheads on my nose i have tried everything to get rid of the blackheads but nothing shifts them and i would love to have lovely even skin without wearing makeup
I can really recommend the No 7 pore refining serum. Its about £11 normally but a lot of Boots' have reduced it. I love it, makes my skin look even and blackheads less noticeable. Loads of people have commented on my (normally awful) skin. :) Obviously even if you have to pay £11, it'll only be £6 with the purplie and it is well worth that imo. :)

Arrived, full of hope and expectation at Bluewater to find:

But joy of joys, my twin Shinies are nestling in my brag book, which I shall put under my pillow tonight!

    xx

I feel so sorry for you Sandra. A similar thing happened to me a few weeks ago but unfortunatley my daughter heard them talking about them and walked over and told them off. She came out and told me and I went back in and complained to the manager. Now when I go into that store they are really nice to me. I loved your comment about your brag book. I have a shiny silver one which never leaves my side. I often come to London to see my son and hope to come accross you some day. LOL AND HUGS
  • Ok if we are all agreed can I officially name the new voucher a Perkie ??

Im so pleased Ive actually thought of something fairly useful:o:o
