Mmmm...I bet we all feel well and truly let down by the ACM...as most of us didn't get these :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
However, if the voucher said ...Plus 300 extra points wys £2.10 on Ear Wax remover......we might all want one...

Especially as, working out which vouchers combine with each other and then karting all our goodies home,
usually causes headache, backache and of course earache .....from the OH when he/ she exclaims........
"Omg......not more stuff from boots!!!"), etc, etc. :)

Yes..... BUT then he also says 'what did you get me', even though he has plenty of L'oreal and Nivea, all on various deals, and a month ago just used to use soap and water. A new card has been requested by him as he obviously thinks he is missing out on all the fun. Mind you he is presently retraining himself as been out of work since June, (hence why I have been on this site much more than before) and is missing adult interaction, even if that contact is the odd SA from hell! - he likes a challenge does my hubby :rotfl:

Don't be nervous - they are advertising Bigtime that you can get these samples, in fact we were invited today by a Clarins Lady, in JL in Bond Street to go to the counter and do this!

You go up and say something like this:

"Hi! I understand you are giving samples, and I'd love to try some please. Perhaps you'd be so kind as to advise me?"

    Alternatively, you can say:

"Hi! I understand you are giving samples, and I always use your products", which I do, it's just I use the samples! I always use the red pots which are for the More Mature Skin.

I love the expensive brands, I've got wonderful taste, it's just I can't afford them! So if I'm running short of anything, I go to the counters in a big store, Dior, Chanel, La Prairie, Sisely, Clarins, Clinique etc and say "Hi, I'm so sorry to trouble you, but what could you recommend for the more mature skin please?"

They will give you about a 10 minute consultation, and I know all about sub cutaneous layers, and the epidermis, and I try to ask intelligent questions about the products, and then they will give you some samples in a bag. These bags look so impressive in my bedroom!

It helps to keep everything light hearted, and, as the SAs are usually about 25 and gorgeous, I listen to what they're advising and then say "And I expect if I use these products for a couple of days, I'll look as young and gorgeous as you!". :D They love that.

You'll always find Clarins and other companies in the larger Boots stores. HTH

    thanks sandra:A

i wasn't sure if this was an 'offer' as such that u had to mention in specific, or had an 'expiry' date or something that could be done at any time IYKWIM! I get nervous approaching these counters as i feel they look down their nose at me:(

    minimoneyme,

Re: Boots Dual Action Ear Wax remover for £2.10 exp 15/02, did you mean expiry date 15/03? If so, I'll add it to list. :D

Sorry yes, I meant 15/03 :o ( is it March already?)

The really spooky thing is that this is actually something that I want, well, not me, OH. Mr B not only reads this thread - he is now reading my mind

    Aw Thankyou!
I really, really wanted the No7 face and body brush, but at almost £10, I couldn't justify it.
When I saw the SA wheeling in all those goodies, at just £1 each......:j it made my day.
They still had lots left, for other bootsters to find too and hopefully there will be plenty to find in other stores,
as the new range is coming out.....
So boots need us to take them off their hands (lol)
I still have my order from the Sanctuary glitch to look forwards to as well, thanks to the op for the info re the glitch. :)

I picked up a £2.20 mini Sanctuary Body Souffle, and the £9.79 set, and I couldn't find the bar code, so the SA scanned it - I only paid £2.20 - twice, and so did Dee. I also did that today at Liverpool Street.

The Olay GWP (black with red stencilly-ish roses) scanned at £0.00, so if yours was scanning at a price - they must have fixed the glitch. Sorry. :o

Thanks SS - the Olay GWP scanned at £0.00 so was fine, it was the Sanctuary one I had a problem with! Maybe because I had a mini Sanctuary travel kit rather than a mini Sanctuary item?
Will try again as just read that you managed the same again at another store! I WILL get a Sanctuary GWP! (have a birthday pressies to get this month and would like to try my hand at making nice mini pamper hampers to cheer up some credit crunch hit friends)

I have already got a stash of 2 large bags full of goodies - not as bargainous or as much as some of you guys but not bad going for a couple of weeks! I am happy anyhoo! :p:D

Will be examining (drooling over) it in detail later in week when the coast is clear! DDs have been eyeing up my bags but I am not letting them get their mitts on MY stash! ;)
(Should be a Fagin stylee smilie rubbing hands together in glee!)

I havent spent any purkies yet - now have about 4 in total! Would like some make up brushes if anyone has seen the reduced ones in the Kingston/Richmond area please?
