i know this might be quite late because people started getting this agggesss ago but didnt really need it but am now thinking i should get the putting set for my little brother who i drag a lot of the times for my bootsing trips and wierdly enough is kinda lucky in finding bargains...so has anyone seen the putting set anywhere in east london?
thanks...also do i have to buy 1 or 2 gillette purchases for it?
    Hi,
I know it's not quite East London but Brent Cross still have a few left. (but flat on shelf, you can't see it properly)
Being guarded by an SA but she was really nice and chatty said it was free with any 2 Gillette. No reduced Gillette there (or acm pointers for me icon9.gif) so got 2 body sprays £1.75 for DS. Paid at the SS tills and put the putting set through first, no beeps ;) so I 'lost' one of the sprays.

Not much else at Brent X, a few Essentials aromatherapy set reduced £1.96. Lots of Bergasol suncare @ 50p. Olay green GWP, but did not bother as I just do not need it :o

Westfield - Shepherds Bush, just a dash round cos OH gets itchy feet in boots, but no reduced sels at all. Reduced No.7, but seemed to be more expensive than in other stores  definitely nothing under £5

Otherwise a great day. Got my free divine choccy from Body shop and free Origins scrub, also been very brave and booked myself in for the free Origins mini facial for next week (from Marie Claire mag). Was also told by the lovely Origins lady that I looked 5 years younger than I am, and my skin is in lovely condition. I know they are probably trained to say that, but I'm easily pleased and it put a spring in my step for the rest of the day! the sun was shining, and we had a vanilla cream slice for tea, life doesn't get much better! :j

Snipped...... Has anyone had a dispatch email yet from .com from the other day yet?? Bit concerned not heard anything yet.

I put an order through at 21.40 on Wednesday 25th (including the No 7 GWP with a single item - the fairy trimmer!) & received my despatch email last night, just before midnight, showing all items despatched :T Hope this gives people hope!

Congrats to all the bargains obtained today, especially Jazzteddy! I never find anything like all you seasoned Bootsters seem to find! I'm obviously not looking hard enough or in the right places!

Again, to answer another post - I did brave a manned SA till with the Olay Definity GWP & purchased it with the Definity cleanser, no questions asked!! I was ready for the story of it being online & all my "friends" having already bought them, but it went through & so no embarassing scenes! I also got a reduced No 7 Glossy Locks for £2.**, so handed over £8.** & got the GWP, 2 products & a perkie. Went home happy! :D

Oh & I'm sure I'm getting different ACM vouchers this week than I did last week, at one point in the last couple of weeks, the only ACM voucher I got was points on a minimum spend (nothing on ANY products at all!) so I wouldn't rule out checking the machines regularly, before the next changeover day, cos you might miss out otherwise.

    S xx
Everything I wanna do is either illegal, immoral or fattening! lol :rotfl:
  • AM in case you make it over to Runcorn soon, they had plenty of reduced No7 foot softner creams. Also the No7 instant tan range, like No7 Bronze silk legs, they were reduced to £5.

SA told me the voucher wouldnt work with reduced items, I just smiled nicely and asked her to try. :D Needless to say it worked.
OMG I would never ask in that store again:o you must have been feeling brave !:D ooh the foot softeners sound nice . THanks x

Hi the foam I got today was in the new packaging :confused: so have no idea why it came up so cheap.

It was the gillette series sensitive shaving foam (not gel) and the sel was 97p, it then scanned at 30 something p, but till then took a further 1/3 off :j:j.

And yep the acm vouchers ended today, I might pop back to acm tomorrow though, just incase it has been extended. You never know your luck. Its an amazing return 150 points for 23p, even better than all that HE we were getting.

When my DH got back from work he did look slightly bemused as to why I had bought him 2 more shaving foams when he already has a cupboard full :o (if only they had all been bought with extra point vouchers I would now be points rich)

it is the black bottle/can or the blue one?

Does anyone know if any stores in West Yorkshire have the OLAY GWP? Also, anyone seen anything spesh in the BIRSTALL one? I'm thinking of maybe going there next week, but don't really wanna go if I won't get any bargains. Thanks all.

PS. Searched high and low for the reduced Gilette things or the Dunhill London EDT, and didn't locate a single one. Oh well.
  • In my local today, very briefly getting rushed through by the kids, on the clearance shelf there were tons of No7 P&P aftersun all reduced to £1, didn't get the chance to study them never mind pick them up to buy but they had no box and looked really watery like toner does. Will go back in myself tomorrow for a proper prowl, wonder if i'll get away with buying 5, though do i really need 5? Not with the summers we usually get lol:rotfl:
:pwould like to make it known it is not a DHN, she's dancing :p

Don't think this has been posted, so sorry if it has. Went to Boots this afternoon, printed out a selection of vouchers, and realised that it has offered me the palmolive coupon twice in one session. Printed out max no of each as they have different barcodes and should be able to be used in the same transaction.

I tried the extracts vouchers on the SS and it declined them - it was on the reduced extracts, so I'm guessing that I need to buy the full price stuff? TIA

Great spot there - I've just checked mine, and they have 2 different barcodes too.
