Have no fear! I think Sarah is the key here! I got my DVD and USB today, no return address just an unstamped postage paid label so not sure where it came from but the address was handwritten so I think it was from Sarah. Mum is finally happy as these were for my little sister's stocking! Good luck everyone.0

Just looking through it now, be careful as when you pop out the USB part it feels a little flimsy putting it into the drive so be gentle.
This is what seems to be on the drive, though I'm opening the PDF files as I'm on a mac and most of the files are exe files, though it seems you can open the videos in flash if on a mac...

My dad sent off for a DVD player too - part of the 2012 movie prommotion. Payment has also been taken and order is nowhere to be seen. Do you think I need to start hassling them for any chance of getting the DVD player?!0
-
Well, here we are it’s the 11th January 2010 and still no delivery of DVD player as promised.
I have emailed the Daily Express twice, no response, even though it is their promotion.
I think it is time to get in touch with the editor.
The way Expansive Media are handling things I wouldn’t be surprised if they go bust.
Hope I get my order first.0 -
Im still waiting for my dvd player and preview dvd also. I have e mailed expansivemedia.com and had no reply. Dont the express have some responsibility as they promoted the offer on their front page to sell their paper?0

The last time that something like this happened to me, I made a complaint to the Advertising Standards Authority.
I bought something (forgot what now!) from a newspaper but did not receive it.
I filled in a complaint form from the ASA reporting the newspaper and the advertiser and, SURPRISE SURPISE, got replies from both very rapidly. I got my money back not long after that.

Baligirl,
After posting my comments re "now being the 11th January 2010" I emailed Expansive Media this time not the Expansive Media email address but to offers@freebegifts.co.uk (same company) I got a reply from Sarah almost by return. Please see content of email below.
HI,
I am aware how late this order is and I can only apologies. The units are all waiting to be dispatched, but due to the snow the fulfillment house are unable to receive a collection from Royal Mail. We are hoping that they will all be dispatched by Tuesday, so I can only ask you to bear this in mind and understand that we are doing the best that we can in order to fulfill all of these orders with complete urgency.
Many Thanks and apologies again.
Best,
Sarah0 -
Just an update: The DVD ALONE came today, no USB. Not sure if this came from Sarah at freebiegifts or expansive. Either way I e-mailed Sarah back explaining. This company are a joke and I won't be going after any freebies for anyone again.
