Expansive Media (USB sticks)

Options
Has anyone had any dealings with Expansive Media? They do USB sticks and other similar products based around new films.
I sent away for a Madagascar 2 USB stick (paying £2.49), they cashed my cheque 2 months ago and haven't sent me anything. It's well past the date they said to allow for delivery. They're not responding to my e-mails.
I saw the ad in Cineworld magazine so i'm going to make them aware, but am stuck as to what else I can do.

  • I too ordered one of their USB sticks about 6 months ago - the STAR WARS one that they were offering as one of the kids wanted one. I paid by Credit Card but somehow failed to spot the delivery in 28 days or more section in the T&C

I waited for 5 weeks and was also unable to contact EXPANSIVE MEDIA so called my Credit Card company. They just said "oh, if you have not got it, we will reverse the transaction" so I got my £1.99 back because I am THAT MEAN....

Needless to say, the stick arrived about 5 days later. I am still unable to contact EXPANSIVE MEDIA to tell them that I now owe them money....

So the lack of communication works both ways!

 Should I change my name to SPAMMYTHESCAMMER?

Thanks for the replies! Had an e-mail back and apparently it's now in the post to me. Usually check on companies before I send away for stuff like that but for some reason I didn't this time!

Ordered a DVD player from a Daily Express offer for £9.99 +£4.99 pp. allowing up to 28 days for delivery. After 28 days, having placed my order on the 7th November 2009 through RBS Worldpay I emailed Expansive Media for an update, fully happy to wait, but would like to know when I might expect the item.
Having not received any response from them after about four days I then emailed the Daily Express, since this was only a couple of days ago I have to be fair and allow them time respond.
I know of three other people who order around the same time as me.
Expansive Media do not seem to confirm their orders after receiving them from RBS Worldpay, other than the money going out of my account and response from RBS no other contact has been made.
Anybody else in the same boat?

I ordered a USB package over a month ago for £3.99 p+p, no replies from Expansive or Worldpay. My bank won't open a dispute so I guess it's time to move on. These people are getting away with too much of this!

I have been waiting well over the stated 28 days for a New Moon preview DVD via News of the World. Maybe it will eventually come. Dont know why the papers persist in using a company that p***** people off when not delivering by the time they say.

Same here, their phone number is dead too.
  • I've been waiting since August for the UP pack advertised in the Daily Mail. I emailed offers@freebiegifts.co.uk and got a reply after 2 days (yesterday) asking for the RBS Worldpay id, which I sent. Almost immediate reply saying she would pass it to the fulfilment house and hopefully it will be dispatched immediately. They seemed really helpful although I guess some of you will be cynical about that so I'll watch this space and report back. I have learned that anything I order from a newspaper offer (esp DM) I will not tell the proposed recipient until I have it in my hand!
