I have no idea I bought it 2 weeks ago, they often have it on offer though

Its the same what gingerbeer said, 150 litres, a pain to carry and a pain to get compost out in small quantities but price is a big factor for me

How much does a 150 litre bag of compost weigh? I need to buy a few hundred litres for the beds at my allotment but want to check how much I can load my car up with! Prepacked stuff always seems to be sold in litres (well unless you go really bulk and start buying it in lorry loads) but I'm guessing that 1l does not equal 1kg.
  • I always stand there and look pathtic and it get the staff to put it on the trolley and then put it in the car. And make my boyf do it when i get home hehe

as i don't drive either, i got my friend especially to come out and help me carry a 70l 'professional' multi-purpose compost from Asda's for :rotfl:£4 on two buses for me. he said it wasn't too heavy but then again, he is a strapping lad of 26yo!

Haha, this is very true. I feel such a fool sometimes dragging those huge bags.

Will be popping to BaQ this weekend so hope the offer is still on. :p (will go early to avoid the shame)

    I've been Money Tipped!
I bought a B&Q growbag a couple of days ago for £1.48 and it has bits of plastic in it (like thing strips of the compost bag), is that normal?
