Ah, did you not think this cifas mark might have affected your natwest app!?

I seem to remember (this was over 12 months ago now) that only one search was marked 'current account', I think the other was either an unrecorded enquiry or ID verification.. I can't remember, unfortunately it's dropped off my file now And besides, what's one more search after 60?!

I have had no problems with RBS service from a customer point of view. My account was open within 7 days, £250 cheque guarantee card and £250 interest free OD. Gave me a CC after 6 months of accounts, had a few issues with them losing my app but realised if they can't find it, they can't find it. So I applied again and sent it recorded Everything arrived in a timely fashion then.

I've just been declined for a leeds building society credit card but that doesn't mean I am going to apply over and over to spite them, also the leeds BS card is run by barclaycard so I know not to bother applying for a barclaycard for about 6 months now.

Also had few problems with Halifax apart from them not switching over my existing current account to reward when I phoned the first time. But I used their callback service so it didn't cost me anything. Also they had a savings account paying 6% for 12 months! can't fault that really.

Called recently to see if they were doing any retention offers on their CC for purchases but unfortunately all they can offer is 6 months 0% on BTs with 3% fee. So I closed my card, never used it anyway

Nationwide are the worst for service out of the 3 banks I have experience with, I would say.

Talking of RBS just had an email alert from equifax:

I;m appealing it cos Sygma Bank (Flybe) done it and it's wrong so they will remove it. In meantime I got correction text showing.

How do you get e-mail alerts Experian nor Equifax don't send me alerts. Are they weekly?

I get equifax alerts, you select it in settings within equifax (I pay £7.50 per month thou its not the free version of equifax that some have). I get them the day anything changes on file, today I had 4 cos the 3 Hbos came up too lol

They are emails...

Mine is is the free trail then £6.50 i think a month.

Doesn't it have an option in settings, in myequifax?

It should do, under alerts (preferences/settings)

ahh, mine is credit watch gold, so I get alerts included you may have the other package....

I've written to Sygma and requested they remove it asap. Also wrote to CRA's but they won't do owt til Sygma authorise it. I dunno why they CIFAS me, maybe cos of my job - I always guess the length of service cos its like 10+ years so doesn;t really matter!

I have a Studio (£300 limit) and JD Williams (£100 limit) - both £0 balances..... does that matter?

Mine is Equifax credit watch Gold as well. I've just looked in My Alert Preferences and it just mentions sms settings.
