Interesting reading all the info. I bought a DGM 32in. from Dabs 15 months ago. Packed up. DGM customer services are putting everything in the way by asking for PIN number which I send and they say they have no details. Asking for pictures of rear of TV, I do not own any type of camera. Have already sent receipt and full details from rear of TV!
DABS say contact DGM, DGM say contact DABS.
It is totally unacceptable. I have checked with European law and under EU directive 199/44/EC all electrical goods must be given a 2-year guarantee, no matter what the sellers terms state (usually 12 months) and also, in England and Wales, you are protected under the same law that goods should be of serviceable quality for a full 6 years.
Have asked DGM to escalate my complaint to manager level and will consult Citizens Advice if no luck.
Perhaps anyone else who has same problem can keep me informed how they get on and I will do same.

Pc8975, the thing is to not back down. I just kept on at both DGM and Scan Computers until one of them did something about it. The best thing is to only communicate with them via letter by recorded delivery.
