Could you please confirm that the above address is still up-to-date?
I've found the following address
Halifax, Customer Relations, PO Box 548, Leeds LS1 1WU
from the Halifax website
http://www.halifax.co.uk/contactus/howtocomplain.asp

Which address is the right one for me to use?

Both addresses look valid, unless Lloyds have started slashing big workplaces already!!

One is to appeal a decision.

The other is complain about something.

I'd suggest you appeal first and, if still not happy, pursue a complaint.

DEF the correct address for underwritting.

its worth a try a have had feedback and heard of customers successfully appealing :j :j
I applied for a joint Halifax Reward Current Account with my wife-to-be but got rejected despite having an ISA with them. I sent a letter of appeal to them and I got a letter from them today saying "your application has now been successful." :j
My advice has no basis more reliable than my own meandering experience.
• First instance to me would be that you already hold 3 Current Accounts within Halifax Bank of Scotland and this is the limit for any one customer.
This can cause a decline.
• Customer Relations is the department for complaints, not for under writing decisions.

It is perfectly reasonable to complain to Customer Relations about an underwriting decision though!

• I always complain to the underwriters about problems with the customer relations department.

No, wait...
• Customer relations will look at a complaint in regards to under writing, but under writing make the decisions on accounts etc.
Entitled to contact either department if you like though :)
