But your garden is HUUUUGE rhiwfield! i was sitting here yesterday going green with envy at your pics
Mine always looks big on pics, and it *is* a good size (roughly 85ft by 95ft) but it always looks SO much bigger in photos than it feels in real life!
Plus the kids, chickens and dog take up most of it, so we're still limited with the space we can actually use... (ponders about boarding for the kids, chooks AND dog LOL)

That takes me back! Had a large garden when I used to live near Saffron Walden and a herd of roe deer used to visit. Tore my hair out as they ate the new fruit orchard I planted :mad:0 -

HUUUUGE !!??
My back garden is 75ft by 48ft, so not really room for chooks and veg, while my gds have to take turns to play on the grass(which will be going if I put in the new veg beds!)

Well, that's a nice size! But i think more than the fact it looks huge, you've utilised the space SO efficiently... there's so much packed in there... so tidy too! Like an area for everything! I wish i was so organised
lol

actually to add in.... I remember visiting my great uncle and aunt from about the ages of 2-14... their garden wasn't huge... small lawn area but the majority laid to beds and a pond - what I remember most was lots of paths between the beds and to the pond - I seem to recall we had great fun running round the paths playing tag and suchlike... so rhiwfield I reckon your gds will have just as much fun playing games like that as playing on a lawn!0

OK, I have never posted pics before, but I'll try to put some here of my old garden around the end of last summer. It's my old garden because I've sold & gone into rented for the time being.
I tarted the garden up a bit a bit in spring 2008, because it was formerly part of our home-based nursery. Obviously, we had the structural plants around, but there was no lawn or veg plot as most flat areas were full of pots lined-out in trays. The pond was an inherited monstrosity made of breeze blocks that stuck up above the ground, so we raised the area around it.

The main nursery was behind the fence at the back. I still own that bit!0
