Amongst many other issues that Labour get me mad over, the ID card thing literally gets me spitting blood. Clearly Rochdale Pioneer would be happy to have CCTV installed in every room of his house.

I will vote Labour but Heathrow's Third Runway makes me boil:mad:

I am a member of the labour party, yet I never supported putting troops into Iraq:rolleyes:

In the letter George Mombiot utterly destroys the record of these compliant, corrupt and morally bankrupt load of labour pollies. Check out over a 1000 responses to it, most of them exlabour members.

That is an excellent article! These Labour drones are just the most sleezy people whose only aim is to stay in power. They have no values at all.

The election can't come fast enough!

The Tories probably will win the next election. I'm sure they'll be awful:cool:

I was commenting to a friend about the irony of Brown wanting to be PM for so long and then as soon as he gets hold of the reins the country goes to pot, and my friend said he believed it was all Brown's fault anyway because of the mistakes he made as Chancellor. Do you think that's true? I know it is happening in other parts of the world also, but if we had never had Brown as Chancellor/PM would things be this bad?

Paul Merton said on Have I Got News For You, that it was the tragedy of a man who wanted a job all his life and when he got it he wasn't up to it.

Blair couldn't have got out at a better time and I'm sure he has a good laugh about what Brown is going through. After all, Brown couldn't wait for him to resign.

I blame him for the recession, yes. When in the so-called "good times" he was taking all the credit, now he won't take some of the blame.

I admire your loyalty but I hope you don't think that because they're Labour they care about normal working people. They don't. The thought of that sleazy lot in charge of the UK for another 4 years is quite chilling.
I want them to get obliterated in the general election.

I don't like the Tories much, either, though. :)

    What a mess we're in.

The people who are suffering the most seem to be those who bought into the 'have it now' culture, which I am afraid the Tories fostered & encouraged last time they were in power.

It's not only the people who bought into the have it now culture who are suffering, my husband, along with hundreds of other people in this country, is being made redundant through no fault of theirs ... thanks to the policies pursued by this Government.

I'm not really a Tory supporter ...but every time they are in power - people like us, hard workers, no debt - we always seem to be better off

Labour always break the economy - every time

When Margaret Thatcher was in power the only things she liked spending money on was nuclear weapons is that what you mean? What a wonderful economy we had under her - is that what you mean?
